We are 187 days out to my daughter's first trip to Disney! Our check-in date is November 1st, and we are staying at the suites at Art of Animation.

I will be traveling with my husband, grandmother, mom, sister, and, of course, my adorable little Ella! She will be 2 years and 4 months old during our trip.

We are heading down to celebrate my cousins wedding! He is a CM, and they are having a Disney wedding.

I am just so excited for this trip! Not only will it be my daughter's first visit, but my husband and I have not gotten to visit the world since our Disney wedding 5 years ago.

I hope to post more later. We will be making dining reservations soon as our 180 day mark is nearly upon us.

Faith, Trust, & Pixie Dust!

What a great trip! Your DD is going to love AoA, it is so bright and fun for the little ones. We are also going in November for our daughters first trip!

I love looking at pictures of the resort, but it also makes a really hard decision as to which suite she would love most. I think my favorite are Finding Nemo rooms.

Well, I thought I had my park days planned, but after talking to my aunt, I think I am switching our Tuesday and Wednesday parks so we can meet them for lunch at Sci-Fi.

Here are our dining selections (hopefully):
Sunday, November 2 - breakfast @ Crystal Palace
Tuesday - lunch @ Sci-Fi
Wednesday - lunch @ Via Napoli
Thursday- breakfast @ O'hana's
Friday - breakfast @ Hollywood & Vine
Saturday - desert party @ MK for my cousin's birthday (the cousin not getting married)

Oh, and maybe O'hana's for dinner on our arrival date, November 1st. My aunt has plans on making those reservations, I just need to let her know if we want to join them. I'm leaning on the yes side though.

What does everyone think? I love the thought of eating everywhere, but I also hate that eating gets in the way of fun in the parks. Or am I just being silly? Of course I will have to eat while I am there, so why not enjoy it right?

We are at our 180 day mark!

*does the happy dance*

I called for dining reservation this morning at 7:50. I was on hold for about 20 minutes, but it wasn't too bad since I got to listen to park music. :D

The cast member I talked with was very nice. She was able to get me all but one of my reservations exactly as I wanted. The one I wasn't able to get was an 8 o'clock time at The Crystal Palace. We ended up with a 9:45 instead. I'm not too bummed. I'll keep checking the My Disney Experience app each day to see if the time I want becomes available.

Ok! And here is what I got:

Sunday, November 2 - The Crystal Palace @ 9:45
Wednesday, November 5 - Via Napoli @ 12:45
Thursday, November 6 - O'hana's @ 8:00
Friday, November 7 - Hollywood & Vine @ 8:00

And for you really smart cookies out there, if you noticed that this list is different from my earlier one, then 5 points to you! My aunt is taking care of those reservations since it will be the whole family combined.

I think I did pretty good for my first time calling Disney Dining!

Have a magical day!

Wow! Sounds like a fun trip. We went to WDW for our honeymoon, and then came back when our first daughter was 2.5 years old. She's 14 now and has been back almost that many times, but her first trip was one of my favorites. Amazing memories at such a special age! You guys are going to have a blast sharing WDW with her!!!

My fist trip was for my 10th birthday and was an October trip. Best. Trip. Ever. My husbands first trip was only a day trip to MK when he was either 7 or 8. We got to go 2 times together after we were engaged and then had our wedding and honeymoon there also. (Wait, maybe this was the best trip ever?) Anyways, it's been 5 years since our wedding with no Disney trips, but I am so glad to be going with a little one! It's going to bring a whole new kind of magic to our trip.

I'm sorry you didn't get your 8am reservation at CP but you have some great dining choices! We ate at Hollywood and Vine for the first time last trip. It wasn't as clean as we are used to at Disney but I loved that they had a lot of different offerings that I don't normally see.

Well, not much since my last update. I was able to up our Crystal Palace breakfast to 9:05! It was amazing! I am always checking my disney experience app to see if any earlier times become available, and on Sunday I logged on and there was the 9:05 slot! I decided to call, hoping that the slot would still be available by the time I got to talk to somebody. Wouldn't you know it, I didn't even wait 1 minute before I was talking to a disney representative and I had my earlier breakfast time! Yay! On another note, I have been looking everywhere for cheap flights for our trip. I need to keep round trip under $200 per person, but so far no luck, and I really am not looking forward to the drive!

OMG! You are reading the post of one very excited girl! My grandma and mom decided that we will be taking the motor home to WDW and will be staying at Fort Wilderness Campgrounds! Yay! *happy dance*

I am so happy that we will be staying at the campground. My family would always take the RV when I was younger, and it has always been "our resort." I remember all the playgrounds, playing basketball with my 2 cousins and my sister, going to the campfire movies, riding bikes, seeing all the lizards, and a TON of other things!

I can't wait to be able to be back even more now! <3

And.....I've come back down to Earth :(

(Darn logical side!)

The more I thought about it, the more I did not like the idea of driving an RV from WV to Florida. Especially with a 2 year old. So, I talked to my mom and grandma and figured our that grandma did not really want to fly; she doesn't like it.

Long story (and some family drama) short, we are now flying! All of us! Even grandma! Woohoo! We booked Southwest and got round trip flights for only $238. A little more that what mom wanted to pay, but totally worth it. They are both non-stop to and from which makes g-ma happy. Flying means more vacation time, less travel time, and less stress about if I will make it home in time to be at work the day after vacation ends. (Yeah, that part stinks a lot!)

Planning is back on track, and now that transportation plans have been nails down, let the more fun planning commence!

Happy planning everyone!

Well, we have 33 days until our trip! (OMG!) Time for a major update on plans and, of course, pictures!

Here is my family: My Husband, Myself, and our little Princess! She will be 2 years and 4 months at the time of our trip.

My mother and grandmother will be traveling with us also.

We will all be staying at an Art of Animation suite. YAY!

As I mentioned in an earlier post, we are visiting the world because my cousin is getting married. DD is going to be one of the flower girls, and as such, she gets to get very dressed up for the wedding. She gets a special dress:

We don’t have the dress yet, so here is the stock picture for the dress.

And pretty shoes:
