baby's best friend - ordering last minute anyone?

Has anyone used the baby's best friend service? We are leaving in a week and are thinking about using them....it says we could order 7 days in advance but has anyone ordered with less notice?? Say a couple of days? Our daughter loves her swing so we are trying to decide to order one or just use the click in graco one that we could try and put in our luggage (weighs around 7-9lbs)...then again we could ship her papasan for maybe cheaper roundtrip than ordering from abbf but all that hassle....decisions decisions....

We have a one year old and for the 3 trips we made this year we used ABBF. (Exersaucer, crib, crib toys & bedding, high chair). Their equipment is clean...looks new to me; delivered timely and wrapped properly. Highly recommend them...going back in June and got a free day on my rental ...great customer service and very accessible by phone & email...can't go wrong...enjoy!!

We called the second night we were at our rental house because our son was having a hard time sleeping in the porta crib the home owner supplied. ABBF had a regular crib at the house that day. They were great!

We have used ABBF numerous times and they are wonderful, top-notch, and all the statements above agreed with.

FYI, ABBF does not require 7 days advance notice; they don't charge your credit card until 7 days before your arrival date. When I spoke with them on the phone they said you can reserve months in advance. I don't recommend waiting until you arrive, but our experience is they will do their best for you if you have a real problem. They are great.

I agree. Uncommon service in this day and age.

Their service is unbeatable and the items are like new. We would not go to WDW or Orlando without using them!

My SIL used them recently and got a clean crib in great condition - she would use them again.

We just rented a crib from them earlier this month. We called maybe 2-3 days in advance, but were re-directed to use the online form. At least I was told I wasn't too late to reserve the crib, but I had to get the order in by that night if I wanted it. I would say that would have been about 48 hrs in advance. I put the order in asap and got a return email that evening. One tip is that they promise delivery by 4pm or 6pm (I think) on weekends. We needed our crib earlier that day and were hoping for early check in for an afternoon nap. We were advised by ABBF to have the crib ordered for the day BEFORE our arrival and it would be held by the bell services. It was then ready when we arrived at 1:00 or so the next day. Worked out perfectly. It didn't cost more for our length of stay either. Good luck!
