1st DW vaca for baby (14 months), me (31 yo), and Dh (32 yo)
8/27 - flight from EWR to Orlando, overall good flight although completely packed. Got to the POFQ, checked in and got ready to go to Epcot for dinner at the Biergarten (in Germany).
8/28 - breakfast in MK (Crystal Palace)-- overall extremely hot weather from morning to night.... but we managed .... we spent so time in MK in the morning and then headed back to the hotel for a quick swim and a nap.... dinner at Epcot Rose & Crown (got outdoor seating) so we were able to watch the fireworks straight from our table.
8/29 - MGM-Playhouse Disney for breakfast with the characters, saw the HM Pep Rally, took photos with Mickey/Goofy, off on some kiddie rides, back to the hotel for a nap/swim. It rained almost everyday in the afternoon!... evening we had dinner with the Princesses in Norway (Epcot)
8/30 - slept in (w. a 14 month old) until 8a!!! so that was good for us... we went to Downtown Disney to see the Boutique inside the World of Disney store (had to see it to believe it!)... then headed over to MK for lunch at Tony's Town Square -- it was good, but service wasn't the best (quite slow!), then we went back to the hotel for a nap and grabbed a counter service dinner at MK at night.
8/31- hit up AK - Donald Breakfastours for breakfast - -that was a good time, that character interaction was AWESOME here....did a few rides in AK, then back to the hotel for a nap/swim, and then dinner at MK (Liberty Tree) overall the food here was good, character interaction absolutely stunk! Hardly anyone came by!!! but we did have the pirate & princess party at night ... honestly that the party was TOTALLY worth it and the biggest hit of the entire trip.. we did almost all of the rides in the park -- NO LINES!!! it was great!!!!!!
9/1 - Chef Mickey (Contemporary) was ok, not the best of the food, but it did it's job for breakfast.. afterwards went swimming at the Poly (we had friends staying there) --then back to Epcot for dinner at Garden Grill... here it felt like there weren't enuf ppl in the resturant, we kept seeing the characters coming back around and around...
9/2 flew out in the mid afternoon... didn't hit up any parks!
Overall, the vaca was great, and would def go back again! just not in the summer next time, I think Dec would be my 1st choice in time when its nice and cool out....
who else was there when we were???
