Babycakes

I don't know if its on the dining plan. I'd guess no.

It's located near the Lego shop in a building with a couple of different things which I cannot recall the name of - but! - the food and drinks! were so good we're eating there again this trip.

Babycakes was open when I was there in November but I didn't try it (went to Ghiradelli instead). It's in the same building as Pollo Camparo - you would go in the door there & it's off to the side. Let us know if you go how it is - I'll have to give it a try on my next trip.

Oh, and the drink I had was the blueberry honeydew smoothie and had them make it non-dairy. If I didn't have to go to DtD for the drink, I'd get it every day of vacation. lol

I had a banana cupcake with strawberry frosting and it was soooo yummy!

I posted a very similar question and then answered it myself! I called Babycakes today and no, they are not on the dining plan which means they do not accept snack credits. We chatted for a bit and she told me the cupcakes average $3.50 a piece, donuts $3.25, cupcake tops for $2.00, brownie bites for $1.25 and cookies for $1.50. Hello, I'll be hitting this up!:goodvibes It'll be such a relief to have a gluten free dessert that tastes good!

I am so excited about babycakes! I would love to see pictures ahead of time, if anyone has any! I know if I'm going to walk in and have a hard time deciding on what to get. A dairy free bakery is a dream. I know I'll definitely try a doughnut and a brownie and a cookie or 2, and oh a cupcake, a smoothie, a muffin, and um..I better start saving up:rotfl:

I tried a carrot cake cupcake and brownie from there a couple of weeks ago. Both were delicious! It was really nice to have an easy place to go to for gluten-free goodies! And that they were vegan too made it even more awesome.

Prices were definitely reasonable. I've paid a lot more for a lot less tasty gluten-free stuff in the past. It was very good and I will definitely go back.

It was great and tasty! I went late at night and the desserts were discounted! I tried just about everything. I justified it after running the marathon.
