Is this place on the dining plan? Can I use a snack credit here?

Yes. You can use snack credits and not only that, their treats also count as dessert options for CS meals purchased at Pollo Campero (Babycakes is a counter in their facility). Also, there are now Babycakes options at AoA and BC and those can be purchased using snack credits as well and count as dessert options at the locations in which they're found.

Where are the Babycakes options at BC...Beach Club Marketplace? Do you know if the DTD location has small GF cakes I can order for a birthday? Thanks!

My gf son is geeked to know he can use his snack credits here, and I'm geeked I won't have to spend extra money! :cool1:

Yes, the Babycakes options at BC are at Beach Club Marketplace.

Yes, they do have 6" cakes that you can order for a birthday. You want to contact them ahead of time because they only make them to order and don't have them sitting around just in case somebody comes in asking for one. The cakes can not be paid for using the dining plan and are not cheap (last year they were $45+tax if I remember correctly). Here's the 6" cake we got last year. They have lots of options for cake types, icing flavours and icing colours as well as decoration styles. They're great to work with.

Wow, that cake is beautiful! Looks yummy...how did it taste? My DD's birthday is 8/18 also...same as the date on your pic :) My daughter likes plain chocolate or vanilla cupcakes and chocolate covered donuts so hopefully BC Marketplace has those since we are staying at BWV...if not, we plan to make a trip to Babycakes anyway. Thanks!!

We all enjoyed it. I will warn you that it does have a bit of a health food taste to it; it doesn't taste like a cake made with white flour and bleached white sugar and crisco with powdered sugar for the icing. We're very used to that kind of thing because of our allergies. DH who can eat almost anything (he as T2 diabetes but all he does is watch overall carb consumption and go for moderation and he's fine so he does eat some cheap grocery store baked stuff) did really enjoy the cake a lot as well. Lets just say I think it as money verywell spent and I'm looking forward to a bunch more Babycakes stuff in August when we return.

Both times we got one of their cakes we got chocolate. I think they have two types of chocolate; regular chocolate and brownie. I don't recall which I ordered.

From what I understand, they carry donuts, cookies and cupcakes at BC Marketplace. I would think that the options would be some of their plainer flavours but that's really just a guess based on the fact that I personally think that makes more sense in order to appeal to a broader range of people but what do I know since I'm not in the business.
