Most of DL's rides have no height requirement, so how would my DS17mo. best/ likely ride on stuff like Pirates of the Carr., Haunted Mansion, small world, "dark" rides in FLand, etc? He's able to sit/ climb up independnetly in chairs, etc. and just graduated to a booster seat from a high chair, so will he sit in our laps (safely?), next to us in his own spot, or...? I've heard stuff about special "toddler cushions" the DL cast members can slip over safety bars for several rides, but is there a minimum age reqt. for those?

Thanks. pirate:

We visited WDW 4x w/ ds between 13mos & 24mos. He rode everything that didn't have a height restriction. We have held him on our laps and as he's gotten bigger he eventually sat in between dh and I and one of us usually just put an arm around him. The cm's will tell you if the child needs to be seated on the seat itself or if you can hold them - most you are allowed to hold your dc. The rides, even POTC with it's small "dips" are not rough at all. The only thing you might have trouble with is the darkness, although that was never a problem for our ds. He actually enjoys all the rides. He has also been to DL (CA) 3x over the last year as well, just turned 3 a few months ago and is very excited to go to WDW again here in a few days. He can't wait to ride POTC again.

Oh as far as a special pillow for toddlers...I have never seen one, but didn't know they existed so never even thought to ask. Fwiw, we never had a problem without anything like that though.

hth.
