Are there any rides at DL that you are able to do a "baby swap" like at WDW?

<font color=navy>Hi there :)

Yes, there are several rides where you can do Baby Swap at Disneyland. Just be sure to talk to one of the CMs at the entrance to the various rides, and they'll explain each particular attraction.

Just a heads up, on our latest trip to DL (last week) more than once we were told that we couldn't get a BS because the line for regular riders wasn't at least 15 minutes long. We've never had a problem in the past and it wasn't really a big deal, just something you might want to be aware of.

When we go in 2005 our twins will be one and our daughter will be four. She has always been very tall, so there will likely be things that she can ride that the babies can't. Will DH and I be able to take turns going on rides with her? Say I wait with the babies while she and DH go and then DH waits with the babies while DD and I go? Is that allowed?

No, not unless they have changed the process since our visit last summer. For "baby swap", they'll hand you a colored pass that only allows 1 person to go straight to the boarding area. Your daughter will not be able to accompany the 2nd rider.

Thank you. That's a bummer, I hate riding rides alone but it is better to know ahead of time that it is not likely to work out then to find out while we're in line. Thanks again!
:)

Are you sure about that? I didn't baby swap last year but in previous years, the baby swap pass was always good for the other adult plus one other rider.

Whenever we've done the baby swap we've been able to have one of us stay with my youngest and the other parent ride with my oldest and then switch so that my oldest got to ride twice. We have never had to ride alone.

Wow! Sounds like we (or my son) missed out! We'll have to keep this in mind when we visit DL later this month... :)

What is baby swapping?

If you have a child that's too young for a ride like Indiana Jones, it allows for one parent to go while the other stays with the baby. When that parent is done, the other parent may enter, usually at through the exit, without waiting or minimal waiting. That way you don't have to wait in line twice for both parents to ride.

Wow, I didn't know that. Until what age would the child be considered a baby, and do you know what rides?
