Baby swap equivalent for wheelchair at DL?

I was reading a trip report about someone using the baby swap system and had a thought...has anyone found a similar option available at DL for groups with someone in a wheelchair? My brother is fairly independent in familiar surroundings, but we're not sure if we would be comfortable having him wait solo while we did the rides he wouldn't be up for. ("We" being both my brother and I - I don't want to come across as making decisions all on my own about what he would or would not prefer. )

He does love to people watch and enjoy soaking in his surroundings, so if the crowds weren't too crazy, a few minutes here or there would be something he would like, but I wouldn't want to leave him unattended throughout a long wait in a long line.

Anyway, I suppose my question is just if anyone has utilized a line swap in cases like this, so my dh and I wouldn't wind up waiting in the long lines twice.

At Space Mountain, I asked the same question. The CM gave us tickets, (I think they were fast passes) and told us to go through the fast pass line, even though it was closed. DD waited for us where the ride stops, with her cousin. When the ride stopped, we switched, and the CM was waiting for us at the fast pass entrance again. That being said, I think the CM was just being kind. I don't think this is the norm, nor would I ever expect such treatment again. It may be up to the CM at the entrance. This was at MK, WDW, not DL.

I would think that it should be possible. I guess you would just have to ask each CM at the front of the line and see what they recommend.
