Hello everyone! I found a Baby Spring Float at Babies R Us and was wondering if you've ever used these at WDW or elsewhere. It's a round float, the center is mesh and has 2 leg holes for DD to sit in it, and the outer edge of the circle can be blown up so it floats in the water. When deflated, it folds into itself so I could put it in my siuitcase. I think it would be great for DD during our April trip (she'll be 8 months). Any thoughts? Do you know if it's ok to take them in the resort pools?

Saw the same thing and was also wondering about it. We need something for my son who wil be 8mths when we go in MAy.

I'm looking for something too for our 18m son. I looked at babies'r'us online and saw the swim trainer set. It had some good reviews. I may order that and just use the baby float to take to WDW.

At Target they had a baby ring in the swim toy area. I think it was 12.99 I think it was by speedo.

I saw another one in the One Step Ahead catalog. It looked really nice, but was about $25. It had a sun shade over it.

I'll be interested to read other posters in response to your question. Thanks for this thread.

Just to be on the safe side I would call the resort and ask if they are allowed in the pools. I know they had an issue with the arm floaties a while back, but I don't know if they changed it. It may be a good idea to email a photo of it to guest relations with the question, so they can see exactly what you are referring to.

hope it goes well.

I called CBR. She looked thru her documentation. She said there weren't any restrictions on floatation devices, but she said the life guards would tell us if they have a problem with it. She suggested we bring the swim rings. She did mention she sees the arm floaties all the time. As far as what she was reading, the only thing it listed was to be sure infants are in plastic pants or swim diapers.

Maybe it's up to the individual life guards. Not sure.

I've seen those floats used at the Polynesian our last trip. It looked very safe. In the past, I've used the yellow blow up baby floats, and those could be tipped, but the mesh one you're talking about seems untippable! I bought one for our next trip, too!
