Hi everyone! I am not sure where to post this.. but I was wondering if anyone had any really cute ideas for baby shower favors? Any ideas or pictures would be much appreciated! Thank you so much!!:goodvibes

I'll share three different baby shower gifts we did over the years.

1. Little Travel size baby powder. We made custom labels to put on them and wrapped that in tule.

2. Small votive candles. We typed a tag that asked the guests to light the candle when they heard the baby had arrived, as a small prayer for family happiness and well being.

3. One gal made up little "boo-boo bunnies" they're made from wash cloths.
Not sure how to make them, but they were cute!

Have fun!

I love the boo-boo bunnies idea....this would be so cute for the little ones to take their mind off while they're getting the boo-boos cleaned.

I make boo boo bunnies all of the time but they can be pretty expensive if you have to make several.

Here's a pic of some that I made as part of a gift to match a nursery set.

They're not hard nor very time-consuming but everyone LOVES them!

My favorite quick, easy, inexpensive and very popular shower favor is candy pacifiers.

I make these without the ribbon part, put them in little plastic bags and then fold/staple a little piece of printed cardstock with the name of the mom to be and the date that I make on my computer.

People always love them because they are edible. They can eat them and then don't have to figure out what to do with some little tchotcke they got at the shower. I, personally, have received three boo boo bunnies at various baby showers. I don't have kids so they are sitting on a shelf somewhere. I prefer favors that I don't require me to find a home for them.

Let me know if you need help with directions for either thing.

The last two showers I helped with, we did flowers. One was for a baby girl. We did a huge bouquet of pink roses, tied each with a ribbon and a tag with the mom and due date. Each person went home with a rose and the mom had at least a dozen left. Disposable and who doesn't love a flower? The next one they do not know the sex of the baby, We did small baskets of baby gerbera daisies. They were small baskets and the sixpack size from the nursery plants. We did these as place settings and served lunch. They were the table decorations and the favors. They turned out really cute. For the main table, we used the same flowers, larger baskets and tied baby things from the handles. Most of my friends are past the baby stage and not quite to gma stage. The last 2 were surprise blessings. One had a 13 year old and new baby, this last one, she will have an 18, 10, 6, and new born!
