Baby proofing resort room

Our little monkey was 11 months when we last visited in December. We stayed offsite so I can't comment on the room but I would say checkout the door stops. Watching tv and start hearing ping ping ping. A terrible obsession has been created now. Lucky I investigated as he managed to manipulate the rubber top from it.

Try not to stress and have a great time.

We are spending 10 days at POFQ and because my son is young we will spending more time in the rooms than usual.

He will be 16 months and is into EVERYTHING!

I am going to bring some outlet covers, but I'm not sure what else to bring.
He loves to open drawers which worries me, especially if there are drawers or doors in the TV stand.

Does anyone else have any tips? I am trying to look at close ups of the handles on the furniture in the rooms.

Check under the bed (might be surprised at what you find DB and DSIL found some unmentionable things) in the draws and cabinets on TV stand clear everything out bring a good amount of toys/new toys to keep him occupied and bring some card board and duct tape to put on the edges of bedstands or any other sharp edges. and keep chairs around table so he doesn't try to walk under the table and bang his little head! LOL I love when they realize they got taller! They're totally baffled! They keep putting things on tables/counters just cause they can!

We had a travel set of outlet covers in our suitcase when the kids were younger! :thumbsup2

Ds was just 2yo (birthday while we were there) for his first trip. Other than the outlet covers I don't think we did much else at POR (we were in the AB section).

If he has a drawer obsession though...I think the painters tape is a great idea!

FWIW...we didn't bother w/ a pack n play..just had ds sleep on the trundle bed. It is practically on the floor so no worries if they roll off. Oh and dh and I didn't stay up after the kids went to sleep....we were wiped as well and crashed almost as soon as they did (so no need to keep the kids curtained off).
