Baby panda makes public debut at SD Zoo tomorrow!

I would love to drive down to SD but DH is not on board. He would rather not step outside the resort, but I have a little shopping to do so...:rolleyes1

Ha. If it were up to my DH, we'd only spend 2 days at the parks. I thinks 1 day per park would be enough! :sad2:

I just saw footage of the baby panda on channel 7 news. He was walking down some big rocks. He is sooooo darn cute! :lovestruc

Just keep in mind that until further notice, he will ONLY be on exhibit from 9:30 to 11:30 AM, so if you want to see him, get there early!!!

Thanks. We planned to go there first thing, but we'll make sure we double check the panda's hours as soon as we arrive.

We saw the baby a couple of weeks ago - such a cutie, and clumsy like a toddler. :)

Baby pandas are adorable! They had a fairly young one when we were at the SD Zoo in Oct. 2008. I agree with the "go right away" idea. We went early and there were only about 20 people in the whole exhibit -- even after getting lost on the way there! You could take as much time as you liked. When it gets busy there is a Disney-sized line to even get in and they shuffle you through at a swifter pace.

Yes, and there's no panda FastPass :)

A picture of the little guy would be great to see. :thumbsup2

That's one of the cutest pictures I've ever seen.

Right??? It's like... TOO perfect. I imagine a stage mom voice saying "alright kid, now make a sad face... That's right... Hold the pose... Hold it... You're gonna be famous!"
