My niece is having a girl baby!! It's the first in our family!! So needless to say, auntie is pretty excited.
This greataunt has decided that she'll be in charge of toys.
So my question for all of you is, where in WDW do you find the best baby stuff - toys especially, but other fun baby stuff as well.
Never had a baby to shop for before!!

:goodvibes :goodvibes princess: princess:

Congratulations. We had all boys in my husband's family(4 sons, 4 grandsons) until my niece and DD4.(3 more grandsons born later) I would shop in DD. I think they have more of young child selections.

Bumping to first page (at least for a while!!)
Looks like we need some help here!
Did one of the shops in England have good baby stuff - esp. stuffed animals??
I would love to find a stuffed animal character that has a button with date on the bottom of the foot. I do know about buttons not being appropriate for babies - but they are cute and would mark the years and I could add to the collection until she is old enough to go with us!!

Anyone have any good ideas???

No help with the toy question, but wanted to offer my congratulations!

The Pooh shop. It's the one you come out into at the end of the ride. I found so many cute things for my baby girl there.

World of Disney at DTD had tons of baby stuff the last time I was there.

I think Germany has Steiff animals. Pricey but beautiful collectibles.

Also, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in MK has cute baby ornaments that can be personalized.

I took my son and his 8 y/o daughter to WDW in January. I gave my other son and D-I-L a delayed trip (will be going late Sept/early Oct). I had wanted us all to go together, but my D-I-L was eight months pregnant in January. We knew he was going to be a boy and while at the Disney Store in DTD, I told my GD to find something she could give to baby Logan when he got here. She found an adorable baby Pooh and baby Tigger. They had some other baby stuff too, but his cousin Aubriee gave him his first Pooh and Tigger.

No suggestions but just wanted to say hi to the fellow Tiger fans! :wave2:

Congrats on your family's newest member!!!

Thanks for the input folks! I'm sure I'll have fun "hunting" for the best stuff. Sometimes the "hunt" is the best part!! Hope I don't find it too hard to decide.

:wave2: to Desiree - love seeing the Tiger fans on the board!!

We found some cutie stuff in the Grand Floridian gift shop. Gosh can't remember the name but if you are in the hotel and face the monorail it is on your left. First or second floor (can't remember). Nice bright store with lots of different things as I remember.

Hi,
What about the big toy store in DTD???I can't remember the name of the store i want to say Toy Barn or something like that....

Hi again,
I found the name of the store it's called Once Upon A Toy Store...Also i notice that this website said that there is a Pooh Corner, which has merchandise and clothing so maybe you can find something there for the little one....Congrats...I myself just had two nephews born Oct. and Nov. within a month from each other, i know the excitment....
