Baby Monitor in resort

We bring our monitor every trip and have never had a problem. It is a Summer video monitor and it actually works better in the hotels than it does at our house because our neighbor has the same one. We have also used an el-cheapo the first years monitor and it has worked great too and actually had longer range than our video monitor.

For what it's worth I think sitting outside on a patio area while your little beasty snoozes sounds like a great plan. Enjoy your trip, your monitor should work just fine unless someone else has one nearby.
