Hello,

I have a 13 month old son who hates to wear shoes. I have spent so much money on different shoes trying to get him to wear something. He would always scream and yank at them until they were off. Well I myself am a big Croc fan and so are my 6 year old son and my husband. So I thought why not give it a try. I went to payless and bought him a knock off pair ( figured for about 13 bucks if he hated them it wouldnt be that much of a loss) Well I have to tell you that he loves them. He will actually find them at the front door and bring them to me to put on his feet!! I can not believe it! So I just wanted to drop this note for all you parents out there that cant get their babies to wear shoes...give them a try..they just might like it! :thumbsup2

Thats cool! :cool1: My grandson is the same way at 2 1/2 years old-he absolutely loves his Crocs! And so do the rest of us-girls, boys, men and women-ages 2 1/2 to 50+. Guess we will be easy to spot at WDW in 10 days, huh?!:rotfl:

So funny to read this post tonight since I just bought my dd1 a pair of croc knock offs at Payless this very evening. She is also not fond of shoes, but she has been fascinated with my crocs and I have caught her trying on her big sister's crocs. I figured for the Payless price they were worth a shot.

For some reason I had been thinking crocs would be awkward for a little one, but in so many ways they are a perfect toddler shoe...light weight, sturdy, comfy, good for chubby feet :-) My dd1 is so happy with her new crocs, she waddles around in them gleefully and then bends to touch them every few minutes saying "crocs." LOL She also cried when we removed them to put her to bed tonight!

Of course, since they were having a sale of buy get one 50% off, I also picked up some for dd6 and ds10 and ds11... we are going to be all outfitted in crocs 17 days from now in WDW :-)

That's too cute! My DS also loves Crocs!!

that is about the only shoe ds will wear! he has never cried for anything in the store til that day! we had to buy them they were so cute :)

What size for the 13 month old? Mine hates shoes too and I'll try anything she is in a size 4 but do Crocs sell them that small?

My 6 yo loves his crocs knock offs from payless, they are not the airwalk ones but they have an S on top for hold your seats disney fans.... superman...he is a marvel comics kid....i blame it on his dad :rotfl2:
but he loves to wear them everywhere, even tried to hide his other shoes so he could wear them to church.

Afetr a long summer of fighting to get sandals on DS 2, I bought him a pair of crocs and he loves them. Best $25 I ever spent. He does like his tennis shoes but just won't wear sandals and it's like 98 and humid out everyday. At least now he has them for Disney and they can get wet too.

The smallest crocs are size 6/7 for a toddler. I'm not sure about the airwalks at Payless because I've never tried them but there sizes might run smaller.

I think the little ones love them so much since they can put them on themselves. And they also come in some fun colors! I have lime green and blue, dh has black, ds11 has yellow and dd7 has purple.

My DS (17 months) hates shoes too. I think I may have to make a trip to Payless and see if I can get him a pair.

Yes! Payless has infant sizes starting at size 3. I bought my 13 month old a size 4 and they fit great. I say check them out it is worth a shot!

Yep, Payless does have infant sizes (another reason we went that route rather than real crocs). The smallest size we saw was 4, but salesperson said they start at 3. They even had 1/2 sizes...I was amazed by that! DD 18 months needed a size 5. They are so cute when they are so tiny!

Another nice thing about the Payless Airwalks for kids is they come in multi color versions. I bought dd6 a cute red, white, and blue pair as well as a multi colored tie dye kinda pair with blue, pink, green, and yellow - they will go with everything she owns!

My older 2 boys (11, and 10) were not liking the crocs of any kind and they never seemed to fit (they have more narrow feet...especially at the heel area. At Payless we found croc type sandlas with a velcro closure that they both are loving!

Also, try more than one Payless store if you do not find what you want. First store we went to last night had very limited selection, but the second bigger store had a ton of selection in many sizes and colors.
