Baby Jogger City Mini - Handlebar issue

Hi everyone

I have a City Mini that the handle bar split and shifted. First it was just one part and I thought it was from the cup holder maybe but now it happened on another side. It's a big gap in two spots now. I've had it for a year and half. Any ideas how to fix before our trip?

The rubber casing on my city mini handle has split as well but it doesn't cause us any problems at the moment. I would contact Baby Jogger about the problem. I bet they will send you a replacement rubber handle. They are known to be pretty good that way.

So weird- mine randomly did the same thing this weekend. Post back if you get a response. I am curious. It is really nothing more than an annoyance to me, but I am really letting it bother me for whatever reason. Good luck!

Definitely let us know how they respond! Mine did that a while back and I just attributed it to wear and tear on the stroller (putting weight on the handlebar to navigate curbs etc). It doesn't bother me, but it would be nice to get a replacement in the future, especially if I ever want to sell it.

they are great at answering emails. I had problems with the front wheel as it always locked itself on straight on it's own and htey send me a new one free of charge. That being said, they stroller was only purchased in March of this year.

I just heard back and it was only a couple days! They are sending me a new handle bar grip at no charge within 2-3 business days!! I will let you know how easy it is to install. Great customer service!

So I also emailed and have already recieved my replacement. The new one actually zippers on, which I was surprised to see. I was wondering how I was going to get a new one on there. I have not yet installed but it should be a breeze.

I'm sorry! I completely forgot to update. Yup it came with a zipper which I thought was great. It also seems like a thicker rubber if that makes sense. I also have not installed it yet. I forgot until we went to the mall tonight and the two spots that are splitting are right where my hands go and it drives me nuts.
