It's snowing.....again!!!

We have had crazy weather all week any where from 20's in the morning to 70's in the afternoon. You want to talk about odd weather

Last Thursday and Friday it was around -10 at night and didn't get over zero till around noon. Once it gets that cold things really dont like to work. Fortunately all the cars and trucks started in the AM (mostly due to the excellent care they get) At that temp the walls in the house are cold, you can feel the cold trying to seep in, walk outside with a few layers of outerwear and you can feel the cold soaking all the heat out of you. On top of all that it has snowed every day since mid week and we got over 6 inches on Saturday and a couple more yesterday. I am glad to have our April trip to look forward to, that and the Daytona 500 are all thats keeping me going right now.

We knew we were in for a bad winter, when our school closed for a snow day before Halloween.

This is a photo of yesterday's snow..The weather forecast was for 1-2 inches.
7 inches later it was still coming down!!!

Looking forward to our vacation at the fort in February.

I am glad to see we are not alone out in CT.....we too were only suppose to have 1 to 3 inches on Sunday but woke up yesterday morning to about 8...I really think the weather people on tv just guess sometimes........ It has been about 1 to 3 degrees out the past few days, but we had made it to a balmy 8 yesterday. I woke up this morning and got excited, it was 26!!! We must be having a heat wave!!!!
