Can you bring the big cans of baby formula when you board the ship if it has been opened?

I don't know the answer to you question - but I have one suggestion - Enfamil, which we used, also sells premixed formula in 4 oz glass jars - take off lid - slap on nipple - and you're ready to go. We bought a case or two of these on a cruise when we took our 8 week old. (and brought along some rice cereal to mix in the last bottle of the day). Enfamil shipped the cases to the hotel where we stayed the night before the cruise left. We did carry them on ourselves (heavy!) but feared breakage if the porters took them. You may want to do a combination - I don't know if any other brand of formula does this and our baby just used the standard kind of Enfamil formula -

There are a variety of Enfamil packaging - you can also buy little individual packets - for example, to take with you if you go on an excursion off the boat.

Because you are leaving so soon (according to your countdown clock) I think maybe you should call DCL direct and ask them. I doubt it though. Their documents all say you cannot take opened packets of anything on or off the ship.

I have used those small individual Emfamil packets though and they were great to travel with. They were packaged for an 8 oz bottle and just add water.

Happy cruising.

I second those premade nursette bottle that fcrouch mentioned. They were the easiest thing.

I would suggest packing an un-openned can in your luggage. That way you have plenty of formula, you don't have to carry the can your self, and it can't pop open in your luggage even with rough handling.

Then just carry enough mix in tupperware in your diaper bag to last you until you are on board.
