I do not know the float rules of resort pool. What I need to know if the Baby's first floats are allowed. You know the one's that they sit in.

We used a baby float at Coronado Springs this past May. No one ever said anything to us about not using it. It never even occurred to me that it could be a problem.

I wouldn't think it would be a problem either, but I know some resorts (not Disney, this is my first stay on site) just do not allow floats period.

Thanks for replying!

Shouldn't be a problem! Disney seems to be much more flexible and kid-centered than other hotels in this regard. My kiddos wore their Speedo swim vests each and every time on the Poly Volcano pool slide - probably 100 times, LOL. Many other places won't allow you on a slide unless you can touch at the bottom or pass a swim test, no vests allowed, etc.

I also noticed this at Blizzard Beach. Other than the big speed slides, the kids can do everything!! Mine were 2 and 4 (almost 3 and 5) and some of the slides they went on were huge! Family at home just couldn't believe it from the pics. Again, around here, they're not tall enough for most. This is a big thing for me, b/c my son is quite short for his age, and as of this summer is swimming very well. At the pool we go to, you have to be 48" to go on the slide. Some of his friends went this year, probably all will be able to next year, and he probably won't be able to until he's 7 or so. Disney was nice for him - much fewer restrictions due to his height - rides too.

Oops, sorry for my tangent!! You should be fine with the float - have fun!

I called CSR about a week ago to see if I can take a float for my son and they said it was not a problem. As long as it was an individual float; meaning that not more that one person will be on it.

We've checked on this in the past.

Noodles, water wings, individual floats, float vests, float suits....whatever...are all no problem. They only ask that a) it's an individual float and b) it's not so large that it will inconvenience other guests.

I'm glad to hear that we can take floats. My oldest DD has a physical disability. She can play independently in the pool with a float. However, I know POP has the life vests, but those don't work well for her. She is not as independent in the life vest. Now if I can just remember to pack her float!
