Can you use one of those round baby floats in the Disney pools? Thanks!

Yes, as long as they don't have a hood or cover over them.
The covered ones block the view for the lifeguards and they will ask you to remove the hood or not allow you to use it.

really? I had the cutest turtle one for my baby at SAB last year and it had a canopy and no lifeguards said anything. I liked it bc it kept him covered from the sun.:beach:

I brought a cute little duck one last sept/oct, with a canopy and 2 seconds after I put the baby I in it, the lifeguard ask me to remove the canopy, or the whole thing. He said the canopy blocks their view of the baby and others and isn't allowed in the pools. We were at Art of Animation. They also wouldn't let the kids use swim fins. It was a bummer. The canopy is so great in the hot sun. We had the Swimways float.

They also do not allow snorkle masks. You can wear goggles, but not masks.

We used a float with a canopy for our DD last year at WL with no issue and the year before that at PO- Riverside with no issue. The rules could have changed since then.

I think like many other things at Disney, the rules are arbitrary to the particular CM/lifeguard you encounter. My brother has used a snorkel mask many times in Disney pools with no problem, and I was in the Kidani pool with my son in his pool float, admiring another baby in her pool float that had a top over it that provided excellent shade. Lifeguards never said a word about it.
