I agree with you completely. It's hard though, since my parents are around him so much too! I had to "train" them to not freak out when he falls because then he most likely start to cry if we have that reaction.

I hope Landon does start to listen. Sometimes we just talk to him sternly, like "No, Landon, you don't play with the remote" and he'll just start to cry!! And we'll have to hug him and tell him he's not in trouble, he just can't play with that one. (He loves remotes, so he does have his own special one he is allowed to play with!)
yep very true, another thing we learned is what a friend shared with us, and it seems to work, is that when you have to tell them no that you cant do something, or you want them to stop doing something, you tell them why, for example,
when it is time to go inside from playing outside, and they through a fit, you tell them you are done playing outside, but you get to go inside, and play, or eat a snack, or dinner time. etc...

or you dont play with this because that could happen, he picked it up right away and works good,




OMG Can't believe Parker ate Candi's birth control pill!! That's hilarious!! I'm glad he won't get anything more than a tummy pain...that's so good, and what makes the story funny!! I'm sure you'll share this story with a few of his friends and/or girlfriends in the future!! If you're a mean parent like me who can't wait to embarrass your children a little bit!! I think I already embarrass Landon with some of the looks he gives me...oh well!

i will definitly be telling that story to his buddies.

she could have told him to eat it, 2 of her close girlfriends that had babies the same age as parker are both pregnant again, but we want to wait a little bit till he is about 3 then have another.

My friend who had a baby 5 weeks before me is pregnant again! Seems like everyone is now!! It makes me want to be pregnant again...but I am forced to wait. That's okay...I love having time with just me and Landon!

yep we really like the time we get to spend with parker and it will be alot easier when he is a little order for another one, and he will understand alot more what is going on as well.

Yeah, I think thats a great idea! Plus hopefully he'll be pottytrained by then and you won't have to change 2 sets of diapers!! I already feel like I'm changing them all the time now!!

Landon definitely needs to be pottytrained by 3 so he be in the kids club when we go on our cruise!!

we will try before we go next summer but we wont push it, we dont want to be training him while we are at disney, that will be too stressful, so either he will have it down a good month or so before we get there, or we will wait till we get home.

Tell me about it...my son just turned one in September and I had a classmate who's wife had a baby 2 weeks before my son was born. They just had their second baby this OCt...13 months apart!! BUt I am starting to get that itch but it will have to wait until at least after June of next year as I do not want to be pregnant on my 30th!

I've been behind again. Oops! Parker on birth control? Babies are little vacuum cleaners - they'll eat anything! I don't forsee any ****s in his future! Post pics of the house when you get it all decorated. I'm doing a holiday party this Tuesday, too - I'm not sure how much I'll decorate, going to work on it today.

So sad about Randy4u. I'm sure I've seen him around the DIS, too. I always wonder about some that you see here all the time and then nothing...

Thank you for letting me know about it, i told vandyfan, that i was just going to email him last week because it had been a while since i tlaked to him...we did communicate regularly over email, and we even tried to meet up when he was up this way last summer, his relatives live about 10 minutes from me.

he was a great man, who will be missed much, my heart goes out to his family and his wife and 2 sons, i just wish i would have kept in better touch this last year.
