If you remember about the premature son of one of the men in my sons' flight. Well he is 3 LBS. now and other than having some fluid on the lungs he is doing well. If you would like to post your good wishes for evan here, I will send this thread to Evans parents to give them a little boost. Thanks.

He's adorable. I'm glad he's doing well. I was a preemie myself (almost 2 months early). He seems little a tough little guy and I know he'll make it!

Yes he is doing well. He started out just a little over one pound, so has gained a lot too.

My sister in law gave birth to twin girls 3 months early, each were 2 lbs. They are now 3 1/2 years old and are driving her crazy!! It was a long road but well worth it!

I'm glad to hear that Evan is doing so well! My little boy was 2 months premature (he is 3 now) and I remember how hard it was waiting for him to finally be able to come home. I will keep Evan and his family in my thoughts and prayers!

My niece also was one that just couldn't wait to see all her family, and was 8 weeks early. She turned 3 in November.....and is such a doll baby! She is such a smart little thing.........she remembers EVERYTHING! You don't want to say anything around her that you want repeated.........because she will remember!! My brother quit smoking about 3 months ago ~ he used the patch. Every year my parents take all the grandkids (5 of them) on a mini spring break vacation. This year my niece went with them (the rules for being able to go are to be 3 y.o. and potty trained!). She told them that her daddy quit smoking, and he has stickers all over him!!

Anyways.........keep up the good work Baby Evan! You will be in the comforts of your own home before you know it!!

I'm glad he's growing well.

I'm the Mom of a preemie, too. Brittany was born at 29 weeks, 1 pound 15.5 ounces, 13.5 inches at birth.

She came home at 8.5 weeks, 3 pounds 14 ounces.

She's now 5 and starting kindergarten in the fall.
