I am starting to look through what we have and what I need to buy to prepare for our trip in April. I did a lot of after season shopping so DD5 and DD3 are set for summer clothes but the baby is another story. She will be wearing 6-9 months when we go to Disney but when it is summer hear she will be wearing 12 months. So that means I have to buy clothes for the week? Does anyone else do this?

What I would do is take pants and t-shirts. I feel it is ok to see a little tummy. It can also get warm during the day so you might want shorts.. I have always bought big as sometimes the can go back down a size after they are potty trained..

I sometimes pick up a few new outfits, but I do buy shirts a size bigger. My DD is in 12 month, but I buy shirts that are 24mos. They are big, but cozy. Also pants that have 'cuffs' or are tight at the ankles you can buy those big aslo. JC penny had a nice collection of those. I bought some 24 month pants. Walmart can also have summer one piece outfits that are reasonable and just buy size 12 months or even 18..

When I went to WDW in October, my DD was almost 5 months old, but wearing 6-9 months. I bought a bunch of things just for that trip since I didn't have ANYTHING! She never even wore some of them! I was going to list them on ebay...

I would buy the bigger size when you can. 6-9 and 12 mo are not that far apart in some things. Dresses are always cute and if you buy 12 mos. you can get away with them being a bit big. Wear a onsie bodysuit under them if it is chilly.
Leggings can roll up and since she won't be walking her ankles will actually be covered if they are a little long.
12 mos shorts would be fine if the waist is not to big, I always get more mileage out of summer clothes since you don't have to worry about the length.
have fun! and don;t forget to get her a my first Disney shirt!
