Baby/child swap thing???

Ok i get how it works at WDW but is there something like that at univerals as well? If so how does it work do we all have to stand in line then trade baby??? Do they do a ticket thing like WDW? We will have our 12 month old with us on our trip in sept.

I got this off of a website. Looks easy enough for the baby swap. We will be doing the same thing in May

CHILD/BABY SWAP AREAS
"Child/baby swap areas are available at each ride so parents may take turns
watching their child while the other rides. This makes it possible for every guest to enjoy our rides. For further information or instructions, please ask a ride attendant."

The child swap at Universal is great. They are inside the airconditioned building with places to sit. For most, you wait in line together until you are almost to the front of the line. Then one parent takes the child to the child swap room while the other parent and other children ride. When they get off the ride, they swap. Then the second parent gets to go to the front of the line and ride with the children again while parent number one stays with the child. You don't have to wait in line twice and the child swap areas are very nice. Some even have tv's or large glass windows so the baby and parent can wave at the other parent and watch them load the car.

Ok can you do the baby swap thing and use the express pass??? I just dread the idea of sitting in a hot line for even 15-20 min while holding a hot baby in early sept since she'll only be 12 there's always a chance she won't be walking even though my first two were!

Yes, you can use the express. Also, in many cases they will let you go to the baby swap area and wait with the baby while your party goes through the line.

just returned and we have a 17mth old it worked great the child swap. even on the mummy and spiderman, we were able to wait outside and then went up the exit and was let right on also at jimmy neutron they let us wait in the air conditioner store and when my family came out they let us right on.
