I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about the baby care centers. One specific question I have is, can my DH and 2 older daughters come in with the baby and me? I think I read that the nursing area is private, but what about the rest of the center?

Thanks!

We used the Baby Care Centers quite a bit with our 5 month old in January and they were great! It is a quiet place to feed, diaper, or get supplies (at Disney prices of course) and we were able to take both DD11 and DD9 in with us.

There is a TV that they can watch while taking a break (tuned to the Disney Channel of course) and I imagine that the CM's would not have any problems with you bringing whomever you need with you as long as they don't disturb others and it isn't too crowded.

As long as your children (and your husband for that matter;) ) are well behaved and don't make alot of noise then I can't imagine it would be a problem. I never used the ones at WDW but I did use the on in DL and my mom was allowed to come in with me and keep me company while DD sat in the quiet.

We used them a few times last week with our new baby. They aren't huge places and personally I felt better about leaving dh and the older kids outside (or off doing something) while I went in and nursed the baby. YMMV, but in consideration of others you might want to check how busy it is before bringing everyone in, especially older kids.

There is a private nursing area...no men allowed in there. The whole family is welcome in all other parts of the baby center. No strollers allowed inside.

We used the one in Animal Kingdom and it was awesome! There was a big room with a toddler table and adult chairs and a TV. There was a separate room for diaper changes, sink, bottle, other supplies. Then there was a private nursing room.

We stayed for about 20 minutes just to relax and cool off. It was wonderful.

Animal Kingdom has the largest center and private nursing rooms.....MK is very small and can get very crowded if you bring everyone in with you. The nursing room is small with 4-5 rocking chairs in one room. Epcot's is a little larger and the nursing room is a little larger too, but still one room with 4 rocking chairs. Not sure about MGM.

Where in the parks are they located?

Epcots is on the left before you enter the World Showcase. I'd say it's inbetween TT and Mexico.

MGM is at the entrance to the park. Walking in, it's on the left.

MK is around the corner from Casey's before you hit Crystal Palace.

AK is over by Pizzafari I think. I'm not positive on this one though.

I will be there with my sister and she is leaving her eight month old at home. She will be pumping throughout the trip. Is there a fridge or freezer to store the milk in in the baby centers?
