My husband and I recently found out we are expecting. We really wanted to send out cards, almost like birthday cards, to announce our pregnancy to our family and friends. However, we don't yet know the gender of the baby and all the customizable cards we can find say either "It's a boy" or "It's a girl" Would someone be willing to help us create a custom card?

Thanks so much!

First of all Congrats!!!!

Let me see what I can come up with..........................:wizard:

OK - here are 2 -- I'm working on some more................. but, do you like either of these??

Those are so cute! I love the second one. Can you do one with baby Mickey and baby Minnie on it?

Thank you sooooo much!

I can try!!! LOL

Do you want the same wording? Also, is the expected date correct? I just guessed, since you said you just found out!!

We are actually due on October 9th, we have been sitting on this for a few weeks because we were so shocked!

I'm open to all wording, I try to be creative but don't have much luck with wording! We could also try a piece that opens up, like a greeting card, and just says "Surprise" with a pic on the front and has the cute phrasing on the inside. I am really like the second ones wording!

I'm working on the baby mickey/minnie - and I'll change the date.

As far as a card - you can buy blank greeting cards at an office supply store or even wal-mart - and then print the design onto it. I'll see if I can make the designs so they'll work for that.

Give me a little while!!

Here is the image for the front -

and this would go inside -

Let me know if you like this!!

OK - let me play with that a little bit!!

All of the wording on the other is OK? If so, I'll use it exactly in the baby mickey one.

I love these precious designs...happy blessing day to you....it won't be long and you will have a wee one to hold and to treasure...

Here's a quick one................ the other design is more tricky!! Let me work on that one - when I get it done, I'll post it!!
** Also, if you wanted to just print this out, and send it as a "card" - just print it out on HEAVY card stock or HEAVY paper - then find the correct size envelope. But, I will work on the other one and try to make it a traditional "opening" card for you!!

OK - Here ya go................ there are a few to choose from! Let me know if you like these.......... I had to manually manipulate them as that pic on the card you found was NOT easy to find........... then it was WAY too small to work on.......... but alas.......... I got it!!! LOL

One of these would go on the front of the card -

This would go on the inside of the card - I have it in blue and green.

Wendypooh, you are my hero. Thank you so much for taking the time to help us out with this. After looking them over all day we are actually leaning towards the postcard style with the border. However, we are starting to think we are making it look like we know we are having a boy, which we don't. So, would it be possible to add a baby Minnie Mouse picture to the top opposite corner to be a little less gender specific? The one on this onsie is pretty cute, and matches the theme, http://images.google.com/imgres?img...p=18&um=1&hl=en&rlz=1T4ADBR_enUS308US308&sa=N.

I rephrased the text a tiny bit, just for a bit more flow.
Surprise!
We Are Expecting and Are Happy As Can Be,

Will Soon Be Three!

Thank you so much!

Like this? Give me a couple of days to resize and change the font...... I'm still learning and not sure how to keep the size large when I change it from PDF to JPG ---- arrgggg --- anyway, let me know if this is how you want it.

*** ALSO, IF any other designers out there know how to do it............. PLEASE go ahead and give it a shot....... like I said, I'm still learning and inserting a pic into another pic is not my strongsuit!!!! HELP!!!! LOL

Its great! Can you do me one tiny favor? (Too many teachers in my family) Can you add an exclaimation point after surprise, and a comma after "be"?

How do I go about printing it?

As for printing, obviously you need a color printer - then pick your cardstock or paper, (HEAVY) works best.
(Also, at many office supply stores or craft stores you can get invitation/envelope sets that are ready to be printed on.)
When you go to print, make sure you resize the image to fit the invitation you are going to use is. Personally, I think keeping it as large as it is would be best though.

Since this is not a transfer for a shirt or anything, it will print just like anything else - meaning, you just print as normal - just make sure you check the size of the image so that it fits the size of the invitation.
