If anyone is looking for the Baby Alive learns to potty doll T.J. Maxx has them for $29.99. Nothing is irrergular or wrong with them. They are listed as Past Season, just last years model according to 2 different store managers. I called 2 different stores to make sure. This doll is listed at Shopko for $69.99 and Walmart has them for about $45. I am soooo doing a happy dance right now :cheer2:

Congratulations for finding a great deal! I had a funny experience with my daughter and Baby Alive. She wanted it the year it was impossible to find, she was four at the time. She was an early reader and writer. I searched and searched and finally was able to find one. She was delighted to get it, initially, she tended to her every cry and diaper change, for a few hours, then, put her in the baby carriage and put a sign on her saying "free". LOL. Too much work and pressure for her, they should give those babies to teenagers who think they want a baby!

Ha! That is too funny! DD2 cried when I made her put the doll down in the store. I can't wait to see her face on Christmas morning, I just hope she doesn't get tired of it too quickly.

Excellent idea. I think my sister had an egg baby to watch for her class in school. Somehow I missed having a fake baby! Also didn't have to disect any frogs or fish, only a sheep's eye.
