Some of you know I've been working on a baby album for a friend that's expecting her first child. Her shower was a couple weekends ago and I presented it to her then. It got rave reviews. She cried, and several people came up to me after and offered to buy one from me! Sorry, it's a one of a kind (until her next child anyway ;)) but it was nice to get the compliments.

Anyway, I'm just now getting around to uploading the pictures, so I thought I'd share. As you can see, my Cricut got a great workout on this book and I really loved the extra polish it lent to the pages.

Thanks for looking!

That's beautiful! 2 friends and I are doing an album for a friend in the UK, but we can't start it until she delivers since she has no idea what she's having! We want to have some gender specific stuff :)

Wow, that is fantastic- you have done a beautiful job.

Rebecca

I love this.

Please don't delete the album, I will need to use it as inspiration.

You are a lovely friend!!

It's adorable! I had to laugh at the meal time page - where'd you find that paper?

Loved the continuity of the layouts and your color/paper choices.

Your album is so great. I LOVE it and you were very sweet to do it. I made an album for my sister in law for her first baby, but sadly they didn't really understand the work that went into it. It was more like, oh, okay, thanks for that. I think I'm jealous! :goodvibes I actually thought that might happen so I was going to post some of the pictures here but I was thinking since it wasn't Disney that maybe I shouldn't. Anyway, enough of my sad little story! Your album rocks and it was real sweet of you to post it, not to mention make it!

It is so obvious that you put much time, love and planning into this beautiful baby album. What a fortunate friend she is to have your wonderful book.

OMG, It is gorgeous! I just started working on my DD album and I am going to be scraplifting a lot. You'll see me working on it at the next crop. Good thing you will be there. I can get lots of advice!:)

I love this.

You are a lovely friend!!

I agree, please don't delete it. I could really use it as a reference for the album my DD's and I are looking to make for my sister and her new baby! You have some great ideas! And of course the work it awesome too!

That is so lovely! My DSis and her Dh don't really get it either. (My DH is not entirely there yet, but he does appreciate looking at albums when visitors are round as they provide their own commentry). Your friend is so lucky!

Thanks again, everyone!

I wouldn't have done this if she wasn't a wonderful friend to me also. I have 2 very close girlfriends that would appreciate things like this - I think I can handle doing one for any kids they may have. As long as they don't have quintuplets or anything!

Don't worry - I won't be deleting this album. I'm honored if you want to use it as inspiration!

Stenogoddess - I'm so sorry your SIL didn't appreciate the work you put into yours. I'm sure we'd all love to see pictures of yours too - we can Ooh and Aah over it even if she didn't!

disneynut - I can't wait to see you work on your DD's baby album. Now that you have the Cricut, you'll fly through it! You can borrow any of the carts I had used that Laurie doesn't have if you'd like. She has the New Arrival (Baby) cart too - I wish I had known about her store when I was working on this!

Thanks for the support New England Eeyore! I think I just needed someone to understand! In trying to take pictures to show y'all, I've discovered that I'm not a very good picture taker of my scrap pages. Who knew that was a whole other skill set I would need!

This one is a scraplift from the Cricket board. It's been so long since I lifted it, I can't remember whose it was. It was in the Chirp though. It was one of the hardest I did trying to make it come out, and it finally did and I think it turned out to be one of my favorites.

This one I did because the baby's dad is a truck delivery person and I thought he should get his own page too.

And this last one came out really blurry, but I think you can still see all the Cricut elements on it so I wanted to show it off. This one is my total fav.
All the animals are at size 2.

Thanks for encouraging me to show them. I didn't mean to take over your thread at all. I've just been a little bummed about it and it means a lot to put it out there to maybe help give others some ideas of something they might like.

Amazing! I am going to scraplife too. I am making an album for a friend due in August and since I am a scrapper who has an easier time scrapping with already having the photos this has been a slightly difficult task for me to anticipate what I want to do for her etc.

I would like to know where the building blocks for Playtime stickers, diecuts, you made them some other way...... Thank you!!!!

Stenogoddess - those pages are terrific! They are all very cute, but you're right, the animal one is extra adorable!

MyLittlePiglet - The building blocks alphabet stickers were from a company called The Paper Loft - they exhibited at CKC so I picked it up there. I checked their website, and they only sell wholesale, BUT I have the whole rest of the sheet (minus the letters for playtime and fun) that I really don't have a need for anymore. It still has enough to spell Playtime again - if you'd like it, PM me your address and I'll send it to you!
