You can have mine, Smileybug!! Actually we didn't get all that much snow (maybe 6" if that) but now we've got sleet and freezing rain this morning. Remembering why I hate New England winters so much. Kids have a 2-hour delay this morning. I thought this was all done as of last night but I guess it's supposed to continue through the day. I may have to postpone grocery shopping until tomorrow, unless I go to Shaw's instead -- it's just up the road but more expensive. ::sigh:: I don't really want to go tomorrow. Blah.

Sunday's my berfday and I'm goin' to the Yankee Candle flagship store in MA.

We got a cold front down here too. Highs in the high 50's! So the a/c is off, for now. I am once again at home with my sickie. I was determined to send her to school, but then she got up at 1 am feeling she had to throw up. So we sat by the toilet for almost an hour while I tried to get her fever down enough to get her tummy feeling better and some medicine into her. Of course, she wakes up feeling fine and I'm missing out on work... again. I did consider getting her dressed and taking her with me, but the guys wouldn't appreciate it if she got sick there. Most of them don't have kids.

Happy Bday LM.... Monday is my little guy's bday... he will be FOUR.... and he want's "anella cake w/ anella cream and prinkles"


I wish I could spend more time around here to keep up... things have been crazy... work is insane, my speed bump mgr was.... almost fired.. (for being incompetent)... but for some reason.. they couldn't do it.. legal reasons.. I think she is seeing a shrink, and they made her take time off for sensitivity training.. and then when the shrink says she can come back, they will let her... Home is crazy.. 4 kids and new puppy.. my DD 13 is picking her HS curriculum for next year.. now what... I can't believe this day has come.. still have one in preschool, on e in elementary one in middle school, and now HS.... help!

Gotta run again... hope to catch up more soon.. maybe a little more Depp will help. (hey I heard a rumor he and his GF were on the rocks???)

Catching up...

Amanda I hope you find an answer soon. It's not easy to make such a decision as changing jobs. I pray that you find your way.

Screw snow. It has so far cheated me out of 2 shoots in 3 days! I'm of snow! You can ALL HAVE IT!!!!

I too, am going to reopen the job search. The rumors are floating that there will be several positions opening up next year at the school (for more pay than I'm getting). Lots of people are throwing in the towel this year and I hope that I can sneak up the food chain. I really want to take DH to WDW for our anniversary, but I can't afford to do so without more income. We are stretched as far as we can go without getting into trouble and I hate it! I want to do this so bad and I know I'll find a way. I'd prefer it to be sooner than later!

That being said, I've got to scoot. We've got a 6 YO birthday party to go to then a HUGE basketball game. Our boys are playing really well this year and I've been lucky to be able to catch a couple games as a spectator. We play the #2 ranked team in the state tonight. Josh McRobert's (plays in NBA and graduated from Duke) little brother will be playing in our gym tonight. Will be interesting to compare the two.

LM - if I don't make it in here tomorrow, have a FANTABULOUS birfday!!!!

Smileybug--I'm going to take my concealed weapons permit test this summer. I hope that I do that well! Which reminds me, our organist at church recently took her test. She hit targets with 94% accuracy. She's like 80 years old. I will not step in her house unannounced.
