I've got a cranky DS10 grumping on my couch this morning. Just had to drive his friend (who comes here to meet up with him) to school; he's having nothing to do with it. I happen to know there's a missed assignment involved and he's not taking it very well that that does not give him a skip-school pass!! Ugh.

So I'm chugging down coffee and waiting for him to get his act together. It's chilly this morning!! Only in the 40s when I got up. Heading for low 80s, though.

I hope his Grumpiness is up and moving. I can't wait until we have mornings like that. We are in the low 60's now and its nice. I'm just ready for some good fall tempts. But of course here that means the middle of winter.

I'm with you. Spiders freak me out.

I think you did the right thing staying home with your kids. I was lucky that my work kept me on freelance when I decided to stay home this last time and I was able to go back when I was ready and there was an opening. Have you tried to use who you know to find a job? Having someone get you a foot in the door can really make the difference. Then once you are in, you will wow them with your skills and personality.

I definitely keep this in mind. I guess I don't know the right people.

Glad the computer is fixed. They cost a small fortune....

The computer is not actually fixed. We have run scans and no viruses are detected. Sometimes it freezes or our power flicks off which turns the computer off. It might come back on without issue or the screen goes blue and says we have a disc error. I'm afraid one of these times it's not going to come back on.

Could it be your hard drive? Or maybe you need a new power plug.
