When I saw the TRU ad in this morning's paper I was thrilled to see that they had Little Tikes toys B1G1F with the free item at a price limit of $24.99. Being a new grandmother I thought great I'll get one for my 4 week old granddaughter for Christmas and one for my 3 week old grandson. I went to BRU and their stock was very broken and things put on shelves they shouldn't have been on. I picked out a small kitchen and a walker toy and at the cash register, they were trying to charge me for both. After having a clerk check, she verified my story but the one item was $38.99 and the kitchen was $29.99. We went round and round and I eventually did not purchase the items. The cashier made some comment about someone else having the same problem the day before. You think they would have fixed it and have the stock on the correct shelves since they didn't price each item.
I then drove to TRU, found the items I wanted - same kitchen and a different walker/play item and paid $31.82 for both items. TRU had plenty of stock, all on the correct shelves and pleasant employees. Needless to say, no more toy shopping for me at BRU!
