Babies R US in PA and NJ?

So I went to BRU today to look at a Maclaren Stroller. They have none out at all, no display, none. So I asked and they told me they can not sell them except for in their NY stores????

Has anyone heard of this?

The BRU in Flanders, NJ has them all out on display. I went to try them out about a month ago. I'm assuming you can actually purchase them there also.

I really thought it was weird. Unless they just don't want me to use the $20 off coupon I have. I should call another store.

I am now curious. I was just in Babies R Us last week looking at a Maclaren... when the $20 off coupon came with this weekends fliers I decided now was the time to buy. I know they had the stroller there within the last 7 days (and there is no way they sold out). Makes you wonder....

I was in Babies R Us in PA last week and saw several Maclarens there on display. We bought ours online earlier this year because even with shipping it was still cheaper than Babies R Us.

So I called another one close by, they have them and said nothing about not being able to sell them. Then I call the one closest to me and the girl put the last Volvo on hold for me.

So I have no clue what they are doing and it seems neither do they, but the girl this morning told me they are not out and they don't have any because they can not sell them in PA and NJ.

So now my problem is, do I go pick the Volvo up or do I buy the 2007 Triumph I found on-line for about $30 more on line. No tax and free delivery.

The girl who you spoke to this morning was definitely on another planet. I went to BRU in Manalapan, NJ this evening... used my $20 stroller coupon and bought a Mac Volo. It was one of 2 Volos left in the store... but they had a bunch of other Mac's. The BRU in North Nrunswick had a whole bunch of Mac's last week... guess it depends on your location.

Yes, the Exton BRU is very sparse! I went to find baby nail clippers today, and a HUGE chunk of the health items was gone!

That is the BRU I go to. I always go there when I am itching to try a new stroller. Which is far too often. I am always on the search for the perfect stroller.

We were in BRU in Exton, PA last night looking at bed rails. I know for a fact that the strollers were out on display - my DS is "attracted" to a maxi cosi stroller - every time we go in there he pulls it out & wants to sit in it. He pulled it off the end cap display & started pushing it around, he also played with 2 Gracos. Not sure why people are missing the strollers - they are where they haev always been.

When we bought our Volo earlier this year, BRU in Harrisburg, PA had tons ove Maclarens in a variety of styles.

We got our Volo online for $80 including shipping. It was last year's model but BRU wanted $119 for the same stoller. The Hbg BRU still had tons of Maclarens last week.

Yep! That's me! We actually ended up getting our Volo at Target. Cheaper than BRU but now as cheap as you got yours!

It looks like our kiddos are similar in age. My little guy is turning 4 this month!

Order one online, I saw them before in Deptford in NJ but that may have been a year ago.
