I know that many people bring young babies to WDW. I was wondering how young you have brought a baby with you.

We have a 2 yr. old DD and a baby due any second. We got a pin code for this November in our e-mail. We are considering it, but our youngest would only be 2 months old.

I will be breastfeeding, so food would be taken care of and I wear a pouch to carry the baby around. I'm just wondering if anyone else has taken a baby this small and how it went.

I've asked this question before on here too... I've gotten answers of as early as 2 weeks.. it's just what you feel comfortable with.... Babies generally are pretty easy...sleep, poop, eat :)
I'll be taking mine at 6 weeks!!

I took my DS when he was 3 months old and he did great! We didn't go commando, took afternoon breaks and utilized the "baby care centers" in all of the parks.

The BC centers are just fabulous. They have huge cushioned baby changing stations (that are cleaned after every use), rocking chairs, microwaves, highchairs, baby clothes and food, nursing rooms, toddler rooms, etc. They are a godsend for those of us with infants!:)

DS turned 3 months old while we were in EPCOT.

Our daughter was 5 months when we took her. Just know that you will be moving at a slower pace and they will be fine.

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping this thread didn't turn negative. :)

We do go at a slower pace and wouldn't have park hoppers. We took our DD at 17 mo. and then again for her 2nd birthday, so we are only used to going with kids. I guess in this instance, it is a good thing. :)

We took our daughter at two months and it went great! As long as it is not too hot outside, wearing your baby is a great idea.

We took our DS when he was 5 months and had a wonderful time. We're leaving Saturday with my DD who is 10 weeks old. I'm planning on using a mei tai carrier and the stroller. My parents are going with us along with our DS, 9 and DD, 7. I've got lots of help and plenty of hands to push the strollers! This is the 4th trip for my now 4-year old DS and each trip has been filled with many different memories. Can't wait to see what this trip holds! Good luck with your decision. :)

Not Disney, but when my DS was 4 months old, we toured the Big Island of Hawaii (we lived on Oahu), and at 5 months Kauai, and 6 months I took him alone to Missouri for 3 weeks. Babies are easy! I loved the backpack at that age, but your baby will be too little for that.

You should be fine! Just get your rest and drink enough water, with nursing. Sounds fun.

Don't stop your life completely with a baby, just adjust.

This post is perfect timing! We just passed our first trimester and I am officially letting the cat out of the bag to our friends that we will be having another "Surprise" litte one at the beginning of April.

We have a reservation for AKV May 5th - I wouldn't think twice about going except for the heat. Do you think it will be too hot for the baby at 4 weeks? I know I would spend a lot of time at the resort in the shade by the pool, but my husband thinks we should just cancel. 4 weeks is awfully young, but we really will miss Disney...

Not really an infant anymore, but we are planning to take ours who will be 17months at the time. Has anyone done that and any tips?

We leave for Disney this Friday and my son will be turning 6 weeks this Friday also. I'm hoping the happiest place on Earth keeps him a happy baby. lol

We've been there with DS at 15 months and will be there soon with him at 20 months. It's pretty easy. We just have to let him run around more and actually take it a little easier than when he was a little baby. DS really liked Imagination, Pirates, HM, and he liked the petting zoo at Rafiki's.
We also took him to Crystal palace for his 1st bday and he loved the characters. We also got him his 1st and 2nd haircut there. Just make sure to have your camera charged ;)

We took our 3mo old DD this past Jan and had a great time with her. She was very easy and babies are so portable that they just go anywhere!
