Hi,

I'm planning to go to minnie and friends breakfast with my husband and 5 month old son and 16 month old daughter next week. My son doesn't sit up well yet. I'm sure you can't bring a large stroller inside.

Has anyone ever gone with a baby, do you hold him/her the whole time or do they have high chairs that smaller babies can sit in?

Thanks for your imput,

Melissa

You could probably bring in the infant carseat, if you use that with the stroller, and sit that in a high chair if it fits, or get a booth and put it on that seat.

Good luck!

No "booths" and I didn't see any strollers or high chairs when we were there a month ago......you could ask to sit along the wall, there are tables there with booth style seats and then 2 regular seats on the other side of the table. That might work for you.

Sorry - that's what I meant.

They do have high chairs though.

Yes, I made reservations last week and they asked me if I wanted a high chair for my littlest one.

I've been known to make a cozy little nest in a high chair with receiving blankets rolled up for support and the cushiness of a Clean Diner/Shopper before they could sit up very well ...

We went in April for a late sitting. DD (16 months at the time) had just fallen asleep in the stroller when I checked in. The CM told me that I could take her inside in the stroller if she was sleeping. So apparently they do let you sometimes. Maybe you could hope the baby would be sleeping when you get there?? I didn't take the stroller in anyway because I wanted to wake DD up to eat.

When we were there in March 2006 our youngest was only 6 weeks old. We had a double side-by-side stroller for him and our then 2 yr old. We ate at Ariel's Groto and they let us take the stroller into the restaurant because he was so little and not going to be eating. (He could have been sleeping at the time - don't remember :) )

thanks for the response!,

I just bought a double jogger so I know yhey wont let me bring that in.

I like the idea of rolling up blankets etc, i was thinking about that after I wrote the post, plus he'll be 3 days shy of 6 months so were just practicing sitting up all week. he's sitting on my lap now so i'm doing the one handed typing thing. :thumbsup2
