Are you allowed to hold babies on your lap on the slower rides? I know stupid question. Ive been to Disney 10 times, but never with a 10 month old. The youngest my kids were in the past were 18 months, and by then they could sit without being in a lap. My youngest will be 10 months old, we are going in a couple of weeks for two days :cool1:
What rides will they let you hold the babies on your lap?

Hi Jackie,

Lots of them...such as IASW, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Pooh, Aladdin's Magic Carpet (or whatever it's called), the Carousel, Teacups, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, and I'm sure I'm leaving out quite a few!

Hello Jackie,

Keep me posted on this as well. I am going in Sept and then my son will be 11 months and would like to know what rides he can do. I pretty much suspected the ones that Bob P said, but would like to know more.

Thanks and have fun!!!!!

We have been going to WDW since ds was 6 weeks old. We have PAPs. One of us has held him on the rides. He's been on Space Ship earth, Journey to Imagination, Living with the land boat ride, Universe of Energy, Rio de tiempo, Maelstrom, The great Movie Ride, Backstage tour, Carousel of progress, Buzz Lightyear, Transit Authority, Snow White, Peter Pan, Small World, Winnie the Pooh, the train, Pirates, Tiki room, and Haunted Mansion. He's loved everything. He is now 13 months. He really loves the bright colors and the music on the attactions. He dances in his seat to the music. Just this last weekend, we took him to the stunt show. It was our 1st time viewing it. He cried when it was over. He wanted more. He spent the rest of the day making car noises...Brrrrroooom! But for some reason, his all time favorite rides at WDW are the tram ride from the car to the park and the monorail. He gets so exited when he sees them coming, then he protests when the ride is over.0

Yes, you can do this. I would suggest you use caution on rides with loud noises and anything that can scare a child like Pirates, Snow White, Tiki Room and Haunted Mansion. You don't want your child to spend time on a ride scared to death and you also want to take other guests into consideration.

Best Wishes with that. Your 10-month-old will have so much to absord. :)

I was with my friends on the Safari ride at AK. Their 3 1/2 month old was being held by Daddy, and he fell asleep on the bumpy ride! Totally passed out; it was funny. :goodvibes

Pretty much they can ride anything without a height restriction. Use your judgement in regards to loud or scary. We have taken our now 11mth old on everything w/o a restriction. Don't try this a US, they have very few rides and even fewer at IOA. A child must be able to take 3 steps for ET and Cat in the Hat.
