My younger daughter will be 7 months old when we go in September. Assuming she's not afraid of them, will we be able to get photos of her with the characters? I'm assuming that the characters can't hold her (nor would I want them to), so I'd need to hold her and get in the picture too, right?

My DD went at 9 months and LOVED the Charactors. It all really depends on your child. The charactors will be willing to take picture with you little one with you holding them. I don't recall any of them picking my DD up. We did crystal place with Pooh, Play and Dine at DHS, and Dinner at the land with Mickey for the interaction with charactors. Next year we will add Chef Mickey, instead of play and Dine.

You know your child best judge how comfortable they are with the charactors and keep that in mind. My DD (18months) loves them, has never been afried of Disney's or the easter bunny or anything like that. Her cousins on the other hand ran screaming from the charactors, and still do ( age 4 1/2 and 3)

I'm not sure if you can bring strollers onto the character lines but I remember seeing a picture on here of one of the characters looking in the stroller at the baby- it was adorable!

They're not allowed to hold kids! Or sign autographs on clothing or anything being worn.

You'll have to hold baby. The characters are supposed to take cues from the kids. I've seen them cover their eyes (like they're crying) if the little ones start to cry.

For the most part, they're really good with the kids. They usually start by waving at the kids and go from there.

We did our first character greets at Camp Minnie-Mickey. We kept DD (6 mo at the time) in our stroller for all of them and let DS have a go with the characters. Goofy actually made a special trip over to the stroller to see DD. She was thrilled.

In most outside lines, I've seen people keep strollers with them. The princesses have pulled DS2/3 into their laps (either while sitting on a bench or kneeling on the ground). Also not a problem for you to hop in with the little one. I jumped in for a few pics with DS during MVMCP last December.

Our youngest son was 9 months old when we went last April and we would hold him up by the characters for photos. While at the Magic Kingdom, Pinocchio came up to him in his stoller and held his bottle for him and propped his leg up on the stroller like he was doing. It is one of my favorite photos from last year.

If she's starting to pull up on things she may be able to stand with a character (a lot of them can get down on one knee at least).

And if you're doing character meals you can keep her in the high chair and they can get to her level.
