Hi.
We're looking at booking flights to LAX next winter. Excellent prices and flight times with British Airways but I noticed seat allocation is £25 pp each way! Or free if you leave it until 24hours prior to flight whilst doing online check-in.
I'm not sure about leaving it until then and running the risk of the four of us sitting separately on a 12 hour flight.
Just wondering if anyone had any past experience or advice on the issue.

as I am or was a very nervous flyer and they promptly found 2 together
..so you always have the option of collapsing into floods of tears
As wayne said I also would def not pay...if you do an on line check in the day before or get to the airport early I can't see there would be a problem..
) and there is no way I am paying for seats. we will take what we get. It's just me and DD and if they split us up, she will make a big enough scene that for the sake of peace, I'm pretty confident that at least one passenger will offer to change places with one of us!
