BA plane crash lands at Heathrow

Thankfully only minor injuries, DH works airside security at Heathrow so expect they will be buisy, not heard from him yet! but only 6 minor injuries reported from passengers on the plane

DH has been making me watch it (I say making me, I'm led up on sofa resting these babies!) he's plane made and particularly BA mad.
I'm glad everyone is ok.
There now saying all power was lost and no avionics so the pilot did a dead stick landing!
What an amazing job he did.

Glad everyone is safe. Strange how I didn't hear anything about this sooner than watching the news in the afternoon since I live maybe a couple of miles from the airport and can frequently hear planes taking off. Maybe it was nearer the T4 area which is further away.

Anyways, well done to that pilot!

I totally agree with you Paul. There should be more people like him getting Knighthoods !! That would have been so scary. He did a marvellous job.

be it the pilot or rest of the flight crew that brought it down safely,they should all be reconised in some way
