This may be of interest to those who are prepared to pay more for a comfortable flight, do not need to travel in peak holiday periods and who don't mind moving resorts/hotels. So that narrows it down I guess
BA Holiday's free one-way World Traveller Plus upgrade with BA (wider seats, 7" more legroom than economy) ends on 30th June for 2006 holidays up to end of November 2006 (major holiday periods are excluded). To qualify you must book a minimum of 7 nights' accommodation, some of which is quite cheap so even if you don't use it, it can still be better than booking BA WTP flights from their website.
For instance, I'm flying out with a friend in November 2006 on a Sunday with 7 nights at Courtyard by Marriott at LBV, paying a supplement for WTP the other way and the total price comes in at around £750 per person - this is around £200 cheaper than any WTP 'flight only' return I've seen on BA's own website. They also offer a connecting flight to Gatwick from many UK airports from £49.
We'll probably use the Sunday and Monday's accommodation at the hotel, go down to Vero Beach for 3 'cheap' points nights leaving some luggage behind, stay Friday and Saturday back at Courtyard and check into OKW on the Sunday for 5 nights. We always try to fly home on a Friday in any case since it gives either DH or friend, time to recover for work on the Monday.
Sorry this is a bit wordy, but I don't think this offer has been well advertised this year and I should hate someone to miss out.
