So excited! Going for spring break which my DD won't miss any school and her ski season will be over. So it's perfect timing for us...and it's over $2000 less expensive than the 7 day Fantasy, win! Cruised DCL before but never a B2B before. Sooooo.....

Do you have any advice for the newbie?

Who's doing the same B2B?

Best to get the same room for both cruises, so you dont have to pack and repack.

Also, make sure you have an activity for younger kids while you wait to reboard. You will be the first one on but you could be in the concierge waiting area an hour or so.

We also request the same server team for both cruises (we love our server team on the dream)

I have the same b2b booked, & booked it in February, but may not keep it. It would be our 1st b2b. Doing Alaska 7/16, so we are leaning towards Hawaii instead of the b2b for May since we already will be at WDW in 6/16...I was excited, but we'll see.

I did book the same cabin on both. DH isn't thrilled with the whole get off/get on thing. All I had to do was give him a price on the Fabtasy for that same week and he bagan to see it my way :smooth: I'm looking at it as a new adventure. DD is 12 so she'll be ok waiting around for a little while...she thinks it's cool we're doing two cruises that week.

Very easy!

Your room host and Head Server (HS) will know you are B2B guests. Your HS will come over the first or second night and tell you of the great service and ask if you want the same team for the second cruise. We have said yes and said no, depending on the servers. Don't worry about hurting feelings if you aren't satisfied.

At the end of the first cruise (night before probably) you will get a letter telling you what to do that next morning. Usually it's "Meet at the ??" or please disembark by 0900-0930. make sure you have your boarding paperwork and passports with you. You will have to clear customs and then you can go to the Concierge area until they take you over to get your new KTTW cards.

About 1030-1100 they will let you back on, after the reset the computer system on-board.

You can go back to your room after you board IF you desire. They ask you not to go back and forth to the rooms because the staff are busy cleaning and folks start to line up off the stairs to get to their rooms. You can really make folks upset by crossing the line in front of them. If we aren't back in the room by 12:30, we wait until after 1:30, just out of respect for the process.
