Bethie sweetie - These look great!! Well done!!
Thanks, Joanne! It took forever to get them just right and one design program I was using would crash about 4/5 through each version, so I constantly had to start over.

There has been a slight change to the final version, since Shelley from Impressions asked us not to use the Walt font on the top. We switched to the Mickey font and love it even more. Will post them again later this week, with some other diy stuff.
your newsletter looks fantastic!!! you're getting so much done!!! you'll thank yourself later for getting all the little stuff done now!!
Thanks, Deena. I know the value of getting as much of this done as possible. The first time around, I was done with major stuff so early that I spent months not doing anything wedding related. We were so organized in 2002, that one week before the wedding we noticed that we had a huge typo on the tickets that we had made as placecards. Since we had absolutely nothing else that had to be done, we calmly printed them all over again and cut them down to size. If I had had other stuff, it would have been a disaster.
Hi Bethie,
I'm scouring the boards looking for VR threads, and I love all your plans so far. Especially your dress, as I'm thinking tea length too, I can't wait to see what you have decided for your shoes and jewellery

And your flowergirl dresses too

I can't decide if I want to go for pink accents or if I want to go with the blue we had for our Wedding, so I'm looking forward to seeing your ideas
Best wishes
Gertiesquidge
Thanks for joining in Gertie! Always good to have another bride/groom along for the ride. Congrats on your VR too! I have been lurking on yours, just haven't had time to post (but I will!). Our first wedding was pink and everything is always pink for me, so it was never a question this time around.

Well, I am sitting here waiting for Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irene to come to the Boston area and figured it was a good time to get some more posted on my pj.
I have all of my accessories done. I am so happy. This all came together so easily, it is kind of scary.

So without further adoo, here they are...
Tennis bracelet
Earrings
Necklace -- Love this!!!
All of them together
My tiara. I have short hair and don't plan on growing it out much, so this is just perfect.
Shoes for the ceremony and reception. I am contemplating having them dyed pink to match the girls shoes. The color swatch is below. I have rheumatoid arthritis in my feet, so shoes are tricky for me. I can't do heels and need them to be uber-comfy.
Found these awesome dressy silver flip flops. I will probably wear them to the welcome dinner and have them along the next day, just in case.
Dresses for flowergirls. Rachel and Ashlyn will be 9 and 7 at the time that we do this, so a typical flowergirl dress would be too little girl for them. We tried them on a few weeks ago and everyone (me, Mom and the girls) all loved them. Colors are below.
We ordered the dresses in the silver. Neither of the girls love pink the way that I do, so I gave them a break and am not making them wear it directly. I also figured they would get more use out of them this way after the wedding. We did order a sash to go with it in the rose petal pink color. We are dyeing the girls shoes this pink as well and I may dye mine too! I would love to consider adding some more bling, but I do not have the talent or patience to play with rhinestones. Suggestions welcome.
Hope everyone who is in the path of Irene makes out okay. Be safe!
