My DD10 wants to have her birthday at Medieval times, but it is so expensive! You have to have 10+ people for the special birthday add-ons, and at 40 bucks a pop plus $7 for the party pack it is too much for us.
We are thinking of just taking the 4 of us plus one of her friends.
Does anyone have a code or has done the party and has an opinion?

She really wants to go so we are trying to find the most cost effective way to get the most "bang for our buck"

I would check your Sunday newspaper, because I always find great coupons for Medieval Times in Chicago.

Also, call Medieval Times during the day and ask if you can get a discount... they might be able to cut you a deal. MT's finances during this economy don't seem great. Good luck!

This may be a stupid question but did you check out the promotions on the wesite? I see a thing for 4 people for $120. Plus, I always see discounts at hotels and rest stops in the area of them. Good luck! :)

I know if you sign up on the website they send coupons and promotions. I am pretty sure you enter your birth date and get a special coupon for your birthday as well.

We have the code for the birthday girl to get in free for her birthday. The other codes are not stackable, I don't think. We decided to do the 4 for 120 with dd10 free, but that was the only deal we were able to come up with.

We took DS for his 11th birthday. (He will be 14 next week so I am trying to remember exactly how it worked.) They ALWAYS run specials - free on your b-day, adults for kid's price, B1G1 free, something is ALWAYS being offered.

We let DS invite one friend so it was just 4 of us. I paid to add on birthday cake - I made all the ressies online. When we arrived they took our photo with a falconer, and I think maybe I paid to add that, too. Then before you go into the dining room there is a ceremony for EVERYBODY having a birthday. They call names one by one, you go up to be "knighted", then you go back and wait for them to open the doors to the dining hall.

The food was eh, the cake was GROSS. Frozen. Nasty. Would NOT pay extra for that again. We did get the photo, a DVD of the show (not the specific show we saw, just stock footage), and some sort of program booklet so the boys had a little souvenir. I think maybe some of the performers autographed the program afterwards. Like I said, it's been awhile! :rotfl:

We have done Medieval Times for both kids as a birthday party. We never did a party package. I would use a discount for tickets and then purchase something small for them at MT as a party gift. We always did gift opening and cake/ice cream back at our house.

I love the show! (Mostly I love to DH is tall and the bird always buzzes his head. :lmao:)

Our MT is having a BOGO free event. Call and see if they are doing that. Also resturant.com has had gift certificates for sale cheap. Current code on there for 70% off if FEAST. Just some options to look into and see if they are available for you.

I am going to the MT in Ga which looks like the same one you go to. However, I can find nothing on a BOGO event and when I called they knew nothing about it.
How did you know about this and where can I find it?

Thanks for the help.

I have heard it on the radio and so has DH. Let me see if I can find some info on it. I'll get back to you shortly.

ETA: So far I have found code 4PWEB1 that gets 4 in for $120. When are you looking to go? I know I have heard the comerical on Kicks 101.5 fm. I will listen and see if I here the code.
