B&BW Cancelled Items?

Did anyone that had an item cancelled still receive it? I had an item cancelled and I called CS. They confirmed that it was cancelled because it was out of stock. I just received my shipment confirmation and it shows that that item was shipped. :confused3

ETA: I just checked my credit card online and it shows a charge of $.60 more than the original total. :confused3 It is still in Temporary Authorization so I guess I'll have to continue to watch what the actual charge ends up being. :rolleyes:
 
Same thing here. I guess we will have to see what actually comes.
 
Me too! The same thing has happened to me. I got my shipment confirmation first, and then two cancellation notices, about the same thing. :confused3

Whew, because I was able to snag one each of the 30" bears for only $9 each. :teeth:
 
My entire order was cancelled for the 75% off small gift baskets for $4.14 each. I was very disappointed. I called CS and they offered me $15 off my next order. Still disappointed, but the $15 of FREE stuff eased my pain a bit. I ordered 3 of the Mentha Shine Lip Glosses and only had to pay $5 for shipping. If your order has been cancelled try calling CS and you might be able to get the code applied to your account also. It is worth a try.
 
I guess I didn't sound disappointed enough. I took the suggestion and called CS on my cancelled baskets with leather trim and got $10 off my next order. Still, I am happy with any savings. Thanks for posting about calling CS.

I must not have sounded disappointed at all, I didn't get anything when I called! And I expressed my disappointment, too :sad1:

I called too and got nothing. :(
 
What happened to me is that I received an email stating that there was a problem w/ my cc. So I call that night, but was unable to get a hold of the right people. So I call back the next day and they tell me that my cc is fine but the item I order was out of stock and backordered. So I ask for an ETA and have to be transfered to customer service. Well cs tells me that they don't back order and my cc will not be charged. So I was just thinking better luck next time. Then I go back to the site to see if I could get something else. That is when I discover that the item I ordered was showing in stock and for $10 more. So I called cs back and asked to speak to a supervisor. I didn't even bother with the standard rep. (I was polite) Well, the supervisor was amazing. She discovered that the item was indeed in stock and replaced my order for me. I was able to get 2 of the large lizard trim baskets for $20.88 total. She covered my shipping and apologized several times. I have already received my shipping confirmation.

The only thing that I am worried about is that I show the charge on my cc, but I still have an authorization for over $93 in purchases. For what ever reason they kept authorizing multiple times for the first order that was cancelled and then multiple times for the second order. I will just have to keep an eye on it to see if it changes from an authorization to an actual charge.
 
I got an e-mail saying my items were shipped but before I got that e-mail, I got one that says an item was canceled/not in stock, but in the order e-mail, it says it was shipped and I was charged the amount for the item in full so it better be in there or I'm gonna really complain. I not only want my money back but I want a coupon in the same amount to get something else for the same price.

I have exactly the same situation. Its very frustrating cause you don't know exactly what its going on. They obviously are having major problems with their website.
