We are staying at a Bed and Breakfast for the first time this weekend. My question is, does anyone know if you do tip at a B&B? If so, how much?

Just to be clear, I am not starting this thread to debate tipping. It's an individual choice.

Thanks for any responses.

I've never tipped at a B&B. We've always dealt with our own luggage, and I figured everything else was included in the price. Plus, the places we've always stayed have been run by their owners who did all of the cooking/serving/housekeeping.

I would tip if they did something special & out of the ordinary for me, but for a normal stay I don't feel the need to tip.

I always leave a small tip in the room for housekeepers, same as I would in a hotel. I wouldn't tip the innkeepers or food providers.

We were at a B&B last week and tipped the maid each day. She thanked us personally. I guess in Amish country they don't get much. I can highly recommend the
