Hi, I have booked 1 night at RPR for Feb 09. Paid $308.25 for 1 standard room.

Looking online and I can now get a B & B rate for $342 which gives you breakfast for 2 people so I will have to pay for breakfast for my 2 children(6&8).

Or I can book a club room at $437.63 which will give all of us breakfast.

The best option I think is the b & b rate as the club room is $100 dollars more and it wont cost that to feed the children.

What do you think? which woud you book? too many choices!!

Does anyone know how much it will cost to pay for 2 childrens breakfasts at the islands restaurant?

thanks alot.

That's way too expensive! I'm looking at HRH at seeing a rate of $234.00 for one night standard room with 2 queen beds on Feb. 9. $211.00 with the AP rate. What day if February? I misread your message as February 9th, 2009 instead of February in 2009.

That's odd about the price difference between the date you want in february and february 9th. I expected both to be considered out of season and therefore the same low rate. Maybe the rate increase is because of college Spring Break, although that date seems early for that too. The week prior is also at your rate.

Are you an AAA member? I've seen threads stating that the AAA rates are now available. It might be worth calling Universal to check the AAA rate. You can book at the AAA rate without the card, but you will need it at check-in. If you don't have an AAA membership, sometimes the room savings will cover the cost of the membership. Then use your AAA card for savings on food and souveniers at the parks and Citywalk.

I looked it up also.Something wrong with that price.:confused3

Maybe they are expecting the coaster up and running by then which I highly doubt..

Beats me on that price....

Will save around $27 with the AAA rate. It will cost me around $70 to join AA so not worth it.

The prices I quoted includes tex etc

If anyone can get me a better rate for 23rd Feb 09 at RPR then please let me know how. Not an AP holder or AA member.

I have never seen a package rate that is worth it. The "free tickets" or "free meals", etc all seem to be very expensive compared to ordering room, tickets, meals separately.

But $308 for a Monday in Feb.I think thats a crazy rate for a standard room at the RPR!!Club maybe but not standard..

I never payed that much at PBR much less RPR.I donnt go during peak grant you..If they had Maddonna playing or something, then maybe..

Or RAPster crawling on the stage singing Like A Virgin:lmao: :lmao:

think I will look at other dates in my 2 weeks that I can go, as you all think it is too expensive. Will get back to you soon

Nope, $274 plus tax etc($308) is the cheapest rate between 19/02/09 and 05.03.09. Some dates where even more!

Will leave my booking as it is. It is a treat and a surprise for my hubby and boys so what the heck.

Possible too it's higher because it's only 1 night.
Keep checking back and it may go down closer in.

Have fun!

Glad I came upon this thread.
Thinking about a 1/2 night stay at a Universal hotel for our first visit to Orlando summer 09.
We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children). Had not realised that B&B rate was only for 2 adult breakfasts :confused3
