We are taking the kids next week (Fri / Sat/ Sun)
Fri MK, Sat not sure and Sun HS, my almost 2 year old LOVES "Hot Dog" AKA Mickey and all his pals, and this was a last minute trip plan... Do I stand a chance at getting any kind of character dining reservation that includes Mickey? I couldn't get any availability really anywhere except Hollywood & Vine and that wont have Mickey ... Minnie would be his 2nd choice followed by Donald... Any ideas?

Tusker house would have them all. Keep trying on line.

If you don't get an ADR before you go I'd try a walk up at Tusker House or try checking with the concierge the morning you want to go - good luck

Tusker House has character meals all day? Or just Breakfast? Because they did have availability for lunch one day but I thought I read that lunch w Donald was only after December. I know other options were Chef Mickeys but that one is sold out... Garden Grille is an option too right? But w them we have to be at Epcot right? What about Tusker House is that in the park? or at the Lodge?

Cape May always seems to have spots. I dont know about Mickey but the rest of the fab 5 will be there and you can jsut grab a fast pass at MK for Mickey! :thumbsup2

Try Cape May or Garden Grill, at off hours. maybe a 4:00 dinner or 10:00 breakfast. And be sure to hit up the Character Spot in Epcot. Not a meal, but plenty of Mickey.

Tusker House has characters for breakfast only. In December characters will be there at lunch also.

I did see an opening at 4:10 at Garden Grill for five people on Friday 10/21.

You can FP Mickey!? I had no idea :) My "big kids" have been out of the character stage for like 5 years so we haven't had to stalk any ;)

This is great where do you get the FP for this? Actually I am off to search I am sure I can find that!

Cape May does not have characters at dinner, but the breakfast is one of our favorite.

Magic Kingdom - Mickey FPs now available for the Exposition/Town Hall (near Tony's) to the right when you enter the park - I think that is your best bet for him. Check Robos maps on stitch kingdom for the location of the FP machine - it is less intuitive.

And with a 2 year old HV for a character meal will be great - Oso, Einsteins, Manny.... plus when we went there last they played the Playhouse Disney (now Dis Jr.) music including the Hot Dog song and kids were invited to dance along to it. At the time my DD1.5 and DS3.5 had a BLAST at this meal - more so than those where they met Mickey and even the beloved Pooh! If they still dance I would go for HV.

If they still dance at the meals I would go for HV - preferrably breakfast!
