Awww... they are starting to come out!!!

The baby parakeets are starting to come out of the nesting box to explore the cage!!

2 have been out sitting on the feeding bowl feeding themselves!

It looks like 4 out of 5 of the babies take after daddy with the white with blue spots and one takes after mommy with the solid blue.

One of the white ones is so pretty - he/she is almost solid white with just a couple of small spots of blue and a couple of small spots of the gray stripes.

I'll get some pictures up later so you can see them.

This was just awesome watching these little eggs the size of jelly beans grow into these beautiful birds!

Here are a couple of early pictures --

The one on the floor of the cage has this really nice Williamsburg blue color. The one on the food bowl looks a lot like the daddy bird but with a bit more blue on his chest.
