Virgin Atlantic has ditched all its 747-400 aircraft, which I loved, in favour of long range Airbus planes and a fleet of 787s. Mind you, I WOULD be interested in experiencing a 787...

I loved the 747 when I went back and forth to the UK. It will be interesting to see how they configure the seating.

I always thought the only ones using the 747 these days were the cargo carriers.
