Awkward/Funny Moments at Disney

Ugh, this was kind of awkward, embarassing, funny, and really gross [[you've been warned]] all mixed together.. Well my sister wasn't feeling to good the last time her, my mom, and my dad went to WDW. We were at POP waiting for a "shuttlebus" as my sister Becky says, when she barfs all over the place. It got on her wheelchair and everywhere. We went back to the room to change her clothes and she was feeling fine and still wanted to go to AK. Well, when we get back out to the buses, the barf is still on the ground, but people had been stepping in it. :scared: . Then even though it was mean my dad and I started watching people to see if they would step in it.. I feel kind of bad for the people that did though.

Gross story alert!

We were at the CS restaurant in Germany. DS was about 10 and he was eating a sausage when somehow he managed to swallow a bunch of sausage casing but not the sausage itself. He got a really funny look on his face, reached into his mouth to pull the lonnnnnnnng casing out of his throat, then barfed all over the table. We were mortified and to this day he refuses to eat in Germany. That's ok son, we don't particularly want to go back either.

I've got an awkward story.

Several years ago I was down in Disney with a bunch of my family members and my now fiance, BF at the time. Anyway, I had never ridden the Winnie the Pooh ride before, and even though there was a long line we had nothing else to do so we got in line.

In front of us was a mother with 3 kids who had to be all under the age of 5. She was by herself. The kids were sharing a Mickey Bar. When the youngest gets it (he must have been like 2) the icecream and chocolate slides off the bar and onto the pavement.

The kid just looked shocked, but he didn't look half as shocked as BF and I did when the mother reached down and picked the chocolate pieces off the ground and gave them to the kid! :scared1: Gross!

We were at Animal Kingdom last year. One evening we were in the lobby. We were in one of the alcoves off to the side. A very nice CM was talking about his hometown in Africa. I can't remember the name of the town. He had a slide show and was telling us all these interesting facts about his hometown. He started to interact with the crowd and was asking questions. He asked if anyone knew how many people lived in his hometown. Well my dd who was 7 at the time started waving her hand frantically. My dh and I just looked at each other. I thought maybe she learned it in school. Well the nice CM calls on my daughter and he asks her, "Do you know how many people live in my hometown?" She proudly stands up and says in a very loud voice,
"A LOT" We all just cracked up.:)

Well, you know the 5 second rule :)

If food falls on the ground and you pick it up within 5 seconds, it is okay to eat.

Oh dear-- this is the most embarrassing thing I have ever done- but I don't know how funny it will seem "typed out.."

So, we were at LTT with DH's brother who is 14 at the time (his first trip to WDW). So, we love character meals, and always try to think of something clever to say to the characters. So, DH tells me to say something sweet to Goofy when he comes over. I waited and waited, and I guess the anticipation (and being REALLY tried!) let out all at one when he came over, bc I yelled,

"GOOFY! I love your outfit, you look like a PIMP!!"

Oh no....

Goofy just does the -confused- look, and leaves...QUICKLY-- and never comes back!

DH still teases me about this-- HOW EMBARRASSING!

LOL!!

We went to Disney with our very good friends who had just found out that she was pregnant. She was going thru morning sickness, weird cravings and was beggining to experience the absent minded space cadet stage of pregnancy. She was doing a lot funny things on this trip, like forgetting basic things as her park ticket, room key and packing shorts for the trip (in very humid and hot September  ). We were visiting Epcot and walked into the stave church in Norway and were looking around when our friend walks up to this guy. She starts to talk to him, then she sticks her nose in his beer and he offers her a sip. She was in shock and tells him very loudly that he knows she can't have beer, because, she is pregnant. The guy says, I didn't know you were pregnant and walks away. That's when she realized that he had just poked her nose into a strangers drink and then told him off thinking it was her husband. DH and I were standing behind her the whole time, watching her do all this and we could not stop laughing :lmao: It's been 2 years and we still tease her about this, we cannot even walk by Norway without laughing.. We are horrible friends ;)
