Just had to share... we found a great and inexpensive sippy cup alternative for traveling to Disney (or anywhere for that matter!). They are called Zoo-Pal cups w/lids. Found them at Wal-Mart for $2 for a pack of 14!!!!

With two toddlers, it's a big ole pain in the booty to lug the sippy cups along, with dish soap as well, and wash them in the not-so-convenient hotel room sink. Even with a kitchenette, who wants to be washing on vacation? Anyway, to keep from sounding like a total commercial - just wanted to recommend these to anyone with babies/toddlers... we tried them out last night. They're a bit flimsy (of course, they're disposable) but we could do one or two all day long (they rinse well).

Just had to share! :)

I was worried about how we would keep ds's cup clean. This is PERFECT! Thank you!

I have seen them at Meijer too. They were in the paper goods isle (paper plates, napkins, etc.).

These look nice but I have a question. They are basically paper cups with lids right? How do you keep them from getting squished in your bag? I haven't used a sippy cup for my kids in years (they are 7 and 5) but my cousin's two youngest (2 and 4) still use sippy's and I thought this might be an idea for her. If they get flattened, will they still work or will they leak?

I actually opened the box to test them out - they are coated styrofoam-y type material, with somewhat thin plastic lids. I guess they could get flattened, in which cause I will be putting them into a plastic container for the trip there. Two boxes should fit into one of those plastic shoe-box containers pretty well. B/c if they did crush, I am most certain they wouldn't be good for use.

I also wanted to mention that they are not quite as good as normal sippy cups as far as spill-proof goes. If they tumble over there wont be an instant spill, but they do drip. But to me, that small sacrifice is waaay worth not having to lug the "good" sippy cups around, washing them and potentially losing them! :)

I have been using these for a few years now. To keep them from getting squished- keep them in the box until you need them. Then if needed, stuff empty cup with paper napkins to help retain shape. I usually grab a handful from McDonalds after we get thru airport security. I especially love them for the plane. As my kids outgrew sippy cups, I could let them have their in flight beverage without worry. Those little airline cups are a disaster!!:scared1: I will bring 2 packs for 3 kids for a week. One box gets packed in checked luggage, the other goes in my carryon. That way, I have a reserve for the flight home and can easily toss them as needed. I try to reuse them at least once each, but if I need to toss, I toss without regret!

We used them for our March trip for my 4 yo DD. They really worked great. I brought a couple to the parks everyday. If DD had any drink left after TS meal I would pour into her cup and she could sip away in the stroller.

Good to know someone else used them and they worked well!!! :D

Thanks again for the tip. I found some at Walmart today and I plan on trying them out in a few weeks when we go to WDW. :)

Thanks! I, too, was worried about DS2 cups. I like the thought of not washing in the bathroom sink. I hope the orlando walmart will have them when we go. We always hit the walmart after check in. This way we travel lighter and the older kids hit the pool.

I've seen those in stores. Glad to hear they work! DD likes our empty coffee cups, so I think these would be good for her. Thanks!!

Just a word of caution if you have younger kids... the lids are a thin plastic and will crack/pop off if the child bites on them. My mom has bought these several times for family get-togethers. My kids are fine with them, but my one niece is always breaking the lids and spilling, so she needs to use a regular sippy cup.

I bought a box of these for our trip to use for milk and juice in the room. (We use hydration backpacks and just drink water in the parks, so we don't have to carry anything extra.)

We've used these a few times in the past. My kids love em! They work great for long trips in the car too. :thumbsup2
